While some bands eventually become stale or fall off as time goes on, I think that this late era of BTMI's music is one of Jeff's peaks. I have a hard time understanding the intense hate that this album has gotten since its release. I can definitely see why some people like this album and had fun with it, but to me, the closest thing I got to fun out of it was laughing at the lyrics. The lyrics are awful, and that, along with the production, songwriting, and delivery themselves, is what leads me to draw comparisons to Weezer.
