Was supposed to be an openly insecure angsty diary style album, track one went into that direction, but everything afterwards bowled down to just another mediocre formulaic breakup album. So the guy started writing music while staying in MIT, some of the songs here were written as far as 6 years back. In the era of heavy blues rock and hard rock, there was a little interest for the type of music Boston played. All the demos were rejected. So he recorded everything in someone's basement.
