I'm amazed on how cohesive, smooth and solid every Conchita's record is. This one isn't an exception. This LP explores to main themes: how lockdown due to COVID-19 affected her life and giving birth to her child. A well produced introspective album with bunches of soft pop and early 00's spanish pop but including some interesting sounds in tracks like "Que Merezca La Pena" (my top track), one experimental performed in french and spanish called "Fuengirola" and ... read more

not the amount of smash hits made for anything but sell
The real self title album by Avril Lavigne was, boycotted?
This is a very particular case. The first time I heard tracks 1-4 I was feeling the album's concept. Then "Dumb Blonde" was streaming... the concept is here, not well executed but pretty decent. This is a huge step from the chaotic Goodbye Lullaby which was poorly written and produced.
Maybe the main problem this album has is the title. I expected this to be more personal but it is more mainstream and friendly pop than introspective.
why artists sell their albums like "deluxe edition" when nothing makes sense?? Future nostalgia is actually a BOP.
Maybe putting random stuff without considering the album's logic could be a commercial success but user score failure too.
I BELIEVE IN SWEETENER'S SUPREMACY
Although the production gets a little weird in some tracks, you can enjoy this perfectly without getting tired.
One of the weakest 2019 albums. Thankfully the movie improves this album to be more cohesive and less crybaby 2.0. But still a meh and forgettable album.
Marina's debut is a catchy and breathtaking record, with plenty of sounds and a particular style. (review re-edition) When I review music, I like to divide in two the LP/EP.
HALF ONE: Are you satisfied?-Hollywood
Are You Satisfied? opens this album with a lyrical content very interesting and kinda mysterious. Leading into track 2, I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Shampain but the combination between drums and synths makes this one very unique, the lyrics, again, well written. Then, I am not a ... read more
so forgettable, predictable and not worth listening if you're not a Zayn's fan.
