i am glad i only listened to this with one earbud in, as soon as i pressed play on the first track my ear immediately started receding in on itself in order to avoid having to listen to this horrific collection of noises. the surgery was long and expensive but ultimately fruitless, the damage done is irreparable. looking forward to my other ear meeting the same fate for any future gitt endeavours!
Enjoyable listen, but got quite same-y and soulless after a while. Also, the vocal samples added absolutely nothing to the tracks. This album felt like the sonic equivalent of those shitty gymbro cybersigilism sportswear pieces - aesthetically pleasing upon first glance, but ultimately shallow and meaningless when you dig a little deeper.
I cannot for the life of me understand why Lyr3 is so hyped, Lyr1 and Lyr2 both defined such different eras of my life and Lyr3 is just plain hardstyle imo.
A hauntingly beautiful concept album that got better with every song
