Take Off Your Dress is one of the best songs of the entire VULTURES era, however, at the end of the day, its VULTURES 2 with one really good song added
Finally reviewing this album. I've been wanting to review this album for a very long time, but I've been somewhat busy recently, going on vacations, dealing with some personal things etc. But now I can give my thoughts on this album (Also I'm gonna ignore the sex skit on this album too). Ready to Die is highly regarded in rap as one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. What makes this album truly great is Biggies ability to rap being so beyond almost every other rapper ... read more
I love the more experimental direction Glover took with this album, kinda sad this is his last album though. Overall I enjoy the experimental direction alongside the genre blending featured on this album. The main critique I have is that there are some songs like Can You Feel Me that aren't as creatively made and do somewhat bring down the album, but other than that, I love it.

It's honestly depressing to see Kanye, the guy who made one of my favorite albums ever (The College Dropout) fall off so bad that now he's making some of the worst rap music of the year so far. Please retire Kanye
Edit: 27 --> 18 Even though supposedly the songs are getting updated, as I relisten to this album it only keeps sounding worse
So I’m going through the highest rated rap albums and I am confused to see an artist with less than 200k monthly listeners and a puppet for a profile have a spot in the top 20 Albums and EPs. So I decide to give it a listen and am pleasantly surprised to find MUSICAL PERFECTION, like how do you even make this?
How did the greatest rapper of all time make this shit, So there is some enjoyable parts in the first half, then you get to the second half where there is near NOTHING to like about it. Also wtf happened in Nas' brain to make Big Girl, You Owe Me, and that stupid ass outro skit. Come Get Me is the only song that I might ever go back to on this album, and everything else is passable at best, and some of the worst things to happen to rap at worst.

Almost 3 decades after the realese of Illmatic, Nas delivers one of the best albums of 2022. This to me is part of what makes Nas arguably the greatest rapper of all time, his longevity. In comparison to a rapper like Eminem, who's fall off has practically become infamous, or Kanye, who has gone from making amazing albums all the time to making ok to good albums. Despite this however, Nas still (quality wise) stands above most rappers today. My main, and only critique of the album is that ... read more
Stan is one of the greatest songs of all time, and I'm not even that big of an Eminem fan. Sure, you can argue the content matter hasnt aged well (which is kinda true), but I still find most of the music on this album to be really enjoyable
