This is more a combination of genres I like compared to deftones, so that already bumps it up, but it’s also just that good on its own.

See, this is why you gotta explore things beyond your own language, because this is amazing.
It’s just a really creative and fun rock record, and it’s super underrated.
The genres explored here keep you on your toes, and even it’s longer runtime doesn’t bog it down too much.
Overall, great listen.

The folk direction he took on this album was such a more complimenting sound for him, and now I can confidently say that he’s a well rounded musician. His voice is amazing of course, but now that he’s found his sound it makes so much of a difference.

Definitely a bit bloated, but what we get sounds nice enough to not be too much of a hindrance.
Vocals are lovely, instrumentation is also beautiful, i obviously can’t comment on the lyrics, but from what I’ve heard they’re pretty great too.
