Kali gets more into bops this time around, and I think it works most of record, but on some occasions there’s a boring spot or 2. Overall though it’s fun, lush, and a great experience.
(Please marry me kali I’m begging you π)
This is an album that warms the soul. It feels like a gentle hug every time I listen.
Gonna cry?
Gonna piss your pants?
Maybe shit and cum?
(This album is fantastic)
So I’m all for reverby shoegaze, but when the reverb gets in the way of some powerful vocals you kind of start to get a little annoyed. When the balance is just right it’s like floating in space, but when it’s off it’s like being drowned in mud.
This is true pain. This is the kind of pain you can only feel on the darkest of days.
When you release an album in 1985 that sounds this good so many years later, you know you’ve won in life. If someone told me that this was from the 00’s I’d believe them.
Squid: Guys we released a new record, what do you think?
Literally everyone: It's pretty amazing.
That one guy that no one likes: Um actually you guys ripped of radiohead!π
My double barrel shotgun:
Thanks for the rec @Milanesadesojas
THIS IS SO CRAZY AND SO UNDERRATED. please listen to it if you want a cool metal experience.
Thank you for the rec @Milanesadesojas
So, this can get pretty heavy at times, and emotionally harrowing, but I come out of it feeling a little lost. I feel like there was more to give, but as it stands it's pretty good.
Take the og black metal and make it twice as hazy, and you get a pretty good description of the record.
Joanne carried tbh. Mr. blunt did good as always, but she just stole the show with her incredible voice.
Why does it sound like he has a great voice and a bad one at the same time?
This is pop for people who think that normal pop songs are too short
We live in a world where Janelle Monáe made a sub par record. WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS?!?!?!?!?!
