Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
88

I was feeling it from the start
I could tell it was a better listen than Doris, though they're both good albums, this is an upgrade
The album was a pretty interesting experience, I like the production, and the delivery is good too
It's unfortunate that it has such a little amount of songs

Fav. Track - Faucet
Least Fav. Track - Grown Ups

Earl Sweatshirt - Doris
83

This album has it's own vibe, I can say it's definetely a better experience after dark
I don't know if it has anything surprising to it apart from the lyrics
The beats are alright, they're not anything crazy though
It's just a cool album, but I can't say that it has something huge to it that makes it a crazy standout album

Fav. Track - Chum
Least Fav. Track - Guild

Michael Jackson - Bad
90

I've never been so attached to an artist's music before
OTW, Thriller and Bad might be one of the best 3 album runs of all time, which is obvious, but that's fair to point out
So Michael Jackson changed sides, and dropped another fye album. Some of the songs can be weaker, but none of them are bad (excluding track 1, cus it's literally called Bad)
Anyway, it's a great album, don't judge an album by it's name

Fav. Track - Bad
Least Fav. Track - Liberian Girl

Michael Jackson - Thriller
96

Michael Jackson didn't dissapoint with his previous album, so I decided to listen to his most popular album, and what I can say, is I'm very happy I made that choice.
This album is generational, you're telling me it has 3 insane hits, in the same album, in a row?! And at the same time, it's the most sold album of all time.
This was a really great experience, I get why people call him the King of Pop, he's definetely worthy of that title.
Overall, an amazing album, ... read more

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall
98

This is peak disco music
Michael Jackson has always been a legend since he dropped this album
This album is literally so good, you start off with some great disco music, then it gets a bit relaxing afterwards, but yeah, this album is goated, everybody needs to hear this right away

Fav. Track - Off The Wall
Least Fav. Track - Girlfriend

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
80

I don't get why Kendrick fangirls like this so much
It's not a bad album but it's still his worst one, though it was quite a fun experience through-out
For a surprise album, this is not bad at all

Fav. Track - reincarnated
Least Fav. Track - gnx

oh yeah this is also discography #5 completed but i wouldn't count it since i listened to pretty much all of his albums beforehand, so it's not really celebration worthy

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
85

It's hard to write a review for this album, because I don't have much to say about it
It's a fun listening experience, that's pretty much all I can say
I don't know if there's some deep meaning behind this so I won't write anything further

Fav. Track - Auntie Diaries
Least Fav. Track - Purple Hearts

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
90

Ever since he dropped this album, his music never sounded like his first few albums
The best part about this album is the lyricism and production, though I'm not hating on the other parts of the album, this album doesn't compare to earlier projects like To Pimp A Butterfly or good kid, m.A.A.d city. Still great, though.

Fav. Track - DUCKWORTH.
Least Fav. Track - GOD.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
83

Really crazy how Kendrick hasn't made a miss album since debuting
This is top 2 produced albums in Kendrick's discography, this album is also good lyrically
Overall, a fun listen, with minimal low points, and great high points

Fav. Track - Keisha's Song (Her Pain)
Least Fav. Track - No Make-Up (Her Vice)

Kali Uchis - Sincerely,
84

First 2 songs had me expecting AOTY, but it got kind of boring later on, the last 2 songs are really good though
Kali Uchis' voice is God-given istg, I've never heard such a heavenly voice before
I was ascending to heaven, but after the 2nd song ended, I got thrown back to earth, and no, I don't think the songs after the first 2 are bad, they just don't compare to their level

Fav. Track - Heaven is a Home...
Least Fav. Track - Daggers!

Ice Cube - Man Up
40

I guess we're recycling songs now
Ice Cube fell off so bad it's easy to cry, and also, he not only fell off as an artist, he also did as an actor... just let it go unc...
This album was hardly enjoyable, though it has some decent moments, it's still a mid album

Fav. Track - California Dreamin'
Least Fav. Track - Ratchet Ass Mouth

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
90

A bit overrated but that doesn't mean it's bad
I love that there's Soul and Hip-Hop in the same album, putting them both in one album was ideal
Still, it's really good and it was a really fun listen

Fav. Track - IGOR'S THEME
Least Fav. Track - I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
92

Radiohead rarely dissapoints
It's hard to explain the feeling this album gives off, but it's nice, that's what I can say
I hope they make another fye album in the future, they're really good at this

Fav. Track - Present Tense
Least Fav. Track - Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief

Radiohead - Kid A
95

Radiohead's review walls get flooded in 10 zeptoseconds so idk if it's worth writing this review
I don't know about the top 22 rating, but the album's still good and I have nothing against it
Listening to this was really relaxing, and it's obvious why

Fav. Track - Idioteque
Least Fav. Track - Kid A

Madvillain - Madvillainy
96

They casually dropped one of the best duo albums of all time and just dipped smh
The only low point of this album is the short running time of all the tracks, but MF DOOM's lyrical skill and Madlib's production do alot to make up for it
Really awesome album, I love it

Fav. Track - Fancy Clown
Least Fav. Track - Hardcore Hustle
Fav. Instrumental - Supervillain Theme
Least Fav. Instrumental - Do Not Fire!

Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
98

Not a single word said, not a problem though
This reminds me of how good Jazz really is, especially this album, it does the job really well
I don't understand how people can do this stuff for 18 minutes straight, considering the fact most people can't even play the instrument in the first place

Fav. Track - Mode D
Least Fav. Track - Track B

万能青年旅店 [Omnipotent Youth Society] - 万能青年旅店 [Omnipotent Youth Society]
93

I have no idea what I just listened to, but it lowkey hits for some reason
Yeah honestly I'm not even gonna write a description, the album is just good, not that I know what it's about, but.. yeah

Fav. Track - ε€§ηŸ³η’ŽθƒΈε£
Least Fav. Track - ζ΄‹ιΈŸζΆˆε€ε½•

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
98

Didn't understand a single word on this album but it goes hard anyway
Been quite some time since I've listened to an album that's not Hip Hop, and this was like the perfect album to break that streak.
No misses, all the songs sound really solid
Doesn't go hard in the whip but I'll let it slide for now

Fav. Track - Heaven or Las Vegas
Least Fav. Track - Fotzepolitic

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
86

The two can make a great album together
It's chill, the production is nice, and Freddie Gibbs is just a good rapper in general
Where's the alfredo though

Fav. Track - Gold Feet
Least Fav. Track - Feeling

Public Enemy - Yo! Bum Rush the Show
73

While it does sound like it was recorded in a basement... nevermind, I won't.
This album was ahead of it's time, even though it isn't as crazy as Hip Hop got later on, for 1987, this was really uncommon.
I really like Chuck D's vocals and Flav's waffling throughout the album.
In my opinion, Public Enemy was the best Hip Hop group of the 80s (common take but whatever)

Fav. Track - Public Enemy No. 1
Least Fav. Track - Megablast
