Eminem - The Eminem Show

Eminem hater listens to his music, VOL. 2
This was definetely better than TMMLP, if somebody wants to talk about Eminem, this is the right album.
Dr. Dre's work here was definetely a great success. The production is probably the best part of this.
Atleast, there's less songs about violence, killing people and Eminem yelling every slur at you.
I feel like this is his last good album, which is sad to say, but he seems to be dropping hot shit after this point (I may be wrong, but I ... read more

Eminem hater listens to his music, VOL. 1
Holy shit this is the edgiest stuff ever. Yeah I'm Eminem, I'm gonna trauma dump on this album as an excuse to say "I'm gonna fuck my mom without a rubber".
Anyways, screw that, the songs are alright (i guess). I may not be the only person thinking that Eminem is the most overrated artist ever. His fangirls are the most annoying thing EVER, and I mean it.

Discography #9 complete
[Rating only for bonus tracks]

A deluxe version for this was a great idea, though I don't like how the songs are just randomly scattered around the album along with the original songs.
With that aside, the songs are good, their production is great, and it's just a good deluxe.
Denzel Curry's discography was really good. While the earlier projects of his career might've been a bit weaker than the things he's releasing now, you could already see ... read more

It's pretty fun, but it's not something crazy
Great time and all that, it's a fun add to his discography but it's not something I would listen to everyday.
There may be a bit too much space spent on interludes (intro and outro too), but asides that, the songs are pretty fun, and the production is pretty good too.
Overall, a fun listen, I wouldn't call it a must-hear but it's definetely good.

Fav. Track - SKED
Least Fav. Track - HIT THE FLOOR

Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future
97

This is his best album, and in general one of the best Hip-Hop albums of this decade, MAYBE the best.
I was in another dimension when listening to this, it's so good, unexplainably
The production is off the charts, I love how much good there's to say about this album
I feel like I'm glazing this a bit too much, but it's hard to not
The first 2 songs are absolutely insane, they're an amazing way to start this album, and even though the rest of the songs aren't as ... read more

Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats - UNLOCKED

I'm the 8 thousandth rater on this EP, so that's cool
This album had so much potential, shame that it's only 17 minutes long, it could've atleast used 30 minutes or so.
The production here is great, you can obviously tell because the producer literally has the word "beats" in his name.
Denzel went crazy here, It's some of his best efforts. His flow was great, I loved his performance on this project.
Overall, good EP, could use more time though.

Denzel Curry - ZUU

I see why it's so close to a must-hear but isn't
The production here is really great, but the songs are just too short, they could definetely use some more length.
Zel's flow on this album is even better, but again, you don't really get to hear it properly cause the songs lack proper time to enjoy them.
Overall, an alright album, but it could be better, considering Denzel has reached his peak from this point

Fav. Track - RICKY
Least Fav. Track - BLACKLAND 66.6

Denzel Curry - TA13OO
93

One of the peaks in his discography, a really great album. Stop staring at me.
Finally getting to the good stuff, TA13OO has a unique theme throughout the album, and surprisingly, each act holds up, with all of them being really good. Stop staring at me.
Also, this is one of my earliest albums ever since I started using AOTY, so cheers to that. Stop staring at me.
So it's safe to say the production here is great, one of his best produced albums. Stop staring at me.
Denzel's vocals are ... read more

Denzel Curry - Imperial

The first album in his discography that is safe to call good
I feel like it just lacks something, it's not something that I can name, but it's just missing a key to making it even better
The production is good, the beats go hard (most of the time)
It's an alright experience, could be slightly better though, and no, I'm not hating
Overall, decent, not much more to say

Fav. Track - ULT
Least Fav. Track - Pure Enough

Denzel Curry - 32 Zel / Planet Shrooms
70

Now, should I make an insanely humorous joke about bottle flips, or say my opinion about the EP itself?
Not much to say here, it's quite alright, 32 Zel is the better side of the double EP
The production is alright, but Denzel wasn't human when singing Ultimate, his flow is absolutely insane
Overall, OK project, I wouldn't say it's a stand-out in his discography, but it definetely boosted his fame

Fav. Track - Ultimate
Least Fav. Track - Smoke 2049

Fuckass cover but anyways
Denzel Curry's first album isn't anything bad, but it's not good. Simply just mediocre Hip-Hop music
It can get quite boring, sometimes repetitive. The production is alright, but 'Zel's flow is great here, not much to say about the delivery, it's alright at best.
Overall, OK album, I wouldn't say that I liked it but eh.

Fav. Track - Dark & Violent
Least Fav. Track - Benz

HOORAY πŸŽ‰πŸ”₯
I "supposedly" listened to Kendrick's discography a WHILE ago, but then I remembered, damn, he's got a compilation with over 10k ratings, so here I am, like 2 weeks later, listening to this, and yes, I know it's not an album, so it doesn't really matter, but it's a hella staple in his catalogue, so it DOES matter.
This album is really fun, even unreleased tracks don't dissapoint, that's how you know Kendrick is ... read more

Common - Be
95

One of Kanye West's best albums, I knew it was worth it
From the intro, all the way to the last song, they're all amazing songs, there's not a single miss
I love the production, and let's not forget about the delivery and flow through-out the album, how much better can it get?
This album contains one of the best, if not the best intro of all time, so that's something to point out
Overall, really worth it, definetely a must-hear

I totally didn't expect this type of music in the conversation of AOTY, cus I hear negative things about music like this, but seems like she pulled it off
This sounds something you would hear on TikTok (you do), especially dancing videos
The production is really interesting, though I like it. I really like her vocals, she's definetely good at this
The whole album goes hard, it's fun to vibe to, sometimes you wanna snatch your ears off because it's so loud
Overall, fun album, ... read more

Mos Def - The Ecstatic
84

The only project in his discography that can compare with B.O.B.S. though it's still not close.
Great project coming from an artist that had one of the best Hip-Hop albums ever as his debut.
The album can get a bit repetitive at some points, but that aside, it's good, the production is a hit or miss, Mos Def's delivery and flow is really great.
Overall, good album, it's partially recommendable

Fav. Track - Auditorium
Least Fav. Track - No Hay Nada Mas

Ghostface Killah - Ironman
86

Really liked Supreme Clientele so I decided to listen to his first album
The production is a hit or miss, but it mostly hits. With the delivery, it's great, too, and obviously, Ghostface's flow is one of the best in the Wu
It's a fun listen, I'd definetely recommend it to any Boom Bap fan, plus, it's definetely a bit overlooked
Overall, good album, it's a great experience

Fav. Track - Daytona 500
Least Fav. Track - Camay

Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele
90

Had this on my hearlist for a while now
Another Wu-Tang classic, Ghostface is one of the best members of the clan
The album is really easy to enjoy, though with some of the skits being a bit underwhelming, it's nothing
Overall, fun listen, I'm a fan of his flow, and the production is good too

Fav. Track - Wu Banga 101
Least Fav. Track - Cherchez La Ghost

De La Soul - Stakes Is High
88

How did they hold on for so long?
The album never gets worse, all the songs are good, but none of them actually stand out for me so much that I can call them VERY good, they're just good
Production is alright, you can hear the Jazz elements here, but that's not what's mainly to be focusing on. The delivery is great, probably better than 3 Feet High
Overall, pretty cool listen, it's got some sort of a vibe, but yeah, it's just a good album

One of, if not the best Wu-Tang solo album I've heard, there's very little to hate about this
Obviously, the features are gonna be Wu-Tang members, with just a few of them being not, but they're all respectable, giving this album a similiar vibe to 36 Chambers
The production is amazing, the delivery is not any worse, plus, Raekwon's flow is also enjoyable
Overall, great listen, definetely an undeniable classic from the Wu-Tang catalogue

Why is this never in the conversation when talking about Jazz Rap
Some of the best produced songs I've heard in a while, it's definetely one of my favourites in terms of production
Really a fan of this, you can really hear the Jazz in this, you can lowkey say that rap is the secondary genre in here, even though it's not
Overall, amazing album, this is a must-hear for both Jazz and Hip-Hop fans

Fav. Track - Loungin'
