there’s no hope at this point. the album has very low highs and very high lows and i’m being overly generous with the highs. it’s just funny that on a sonic level or in terms of soundscape, the whole lp is blatantly incongruous with the “showgirl” persona she wants to cultivate. not a single cover art released that sounded like the album.
