Malcolm Todd's singing ability seems to be non existent on this project. The same can be said about his ability to write good lyrics and songs you can differentiate from each other.

Whilst Fragile in bookended by two of what could potentially be some of the best songs ever to grace my ears, the rest of the album does unfortunately not live up to the greatness of those two songs (despite a few sections on South Side of the Sky coming close), and the album feels very inconsistent because of it, still a good prog rock album though.
Really good album. 1 Up Til Sun Up has a really fun beat and is a great tone setter for the rest of the album. But I am leaving this review because I cannot remember for the life of me which other song uses the guitar riff in Umbrellas (God Forgive Me) I'm sure I will eventually find it but please let me know if you know.

May very well be the worst posthumous album ever released. With some truly awful songs to 'continue' Marvin Gaye's legacy. ESPECIALLY Masochistic Beauty.
Jazz rap is easily my favorite subgenre of hip hop and is especially so when the jazz aspect of the album has a large focus placed on it. This album has some of the best jazz instrumentation/production that I've ever heard in a rap album, only really rivalled by Mckinley Dixon, The Roots, and Denzel Curry on the extended version of Melt my Eyes.
