this gotta be his first album for me that’s not a 100 since veteran, i do love the ideas of the record but i feel like it’s too many songs on this shit, if he instead cut it down to 14 like the last album and extended some of them i feel like it would’ve been on top with his previous works.
fun album but stumbles a bit and that’s okay.
favorites: track 1-5, SIMY, track 11-14, Lights, WOL, 22/Chat
least: CHARLIE KIRK
NOW THIS IS WHAT I WANNA HEAR, I feel like these singles are purposely picked to throw off some people and I love it, I think he's saving the best ones for the full release or all of it is connected, either way I'm way less worried than last time.
BAD BITCHES WANT ME I'M IN THE PIZZA CLUB
how do people intentionally make ass music but it comes out to be fire?
they used to be so good, wtf happened, now it's "new music coming soon" every goddamn year my nigga, at least give us an actual EP instead of the 108th Jenny remix, besides their weird motions post their "return" this album was a great debut and could've been alongside with Gorillaz if they locked in after this one
favorites: 1-3, 6-8
least: Jenny (cool song but it's annoying atp)
I used to think this was tuff back when I was 3rd grade, watching every video that came with the album, and the Roblox music videos that had her music, there's only 3 good songs i'd say tho
faves: Alphabet Boy, Training Wheels, MPH
least: the rest, fuck mel
man this album is beautiful while it's not their best imo the phase itself with the art and media outside of the music that was released is probably my favorite gorillaz era, this album was led by the mastermind Noodle (the girl in the band, each track covering an issue from society we to this day still deciding to turn away from, like guns, wars, big corporations, climate change, alcohol abuse, you name it, but instead of putting you in a deep sorrow it gets you moving while making you ... read more
childhood banger, I used to have a CD of this album and played it on my Xbox 360 everyday, BEP made good commercial pop rap music, sadly the sam can't be sad for their shitty sounds now, but these songs brings their new direction into a WAY more fun sense than the last, idk why but I still enjoy this one
faves: Track 1-4, Like That (best song they ever made), Bebot, TDWM, Feel it
least: Ba Bump (Burger ass beat)
fun pop record but their last album was way more enjoyable than this, this is Dave's The Now Now
faves: Dreamland, Tangerine, Hot Sugar, Tokyo, Waterfalls
least: Domestic Bliss
this is my favorite Vince album besides Dark Times (at least from what I heard) the experimental production throwing your ears into some club, house, and of course hip hop sounds that really puts you in a twerkable groove, also Kilo does her thing here, boosting the energy for the listener very splendidly
also I like to think 2D decided to help Vince and record vocals for LCB in the Gorillaz timeline, since this and humanz were around the same time
faves: Track 1-4, Yeah Right, Homage, Party ... read more
I remember being really pissed off throughout this album, whoever let WHERE WAS YOU on the tracklist needs to get fucking whipped, not with a belt, with a mace my nigga
but there's some good ones on here tho
faves: C&V, 2000, BEEP BEEP, OUTSIDE
least: WHERE WAS YOU (this trio is usually flames but ts is ass)
