The tracks feel kind of generic and personally don’t really stand out when comparing them to other trap rap albums. Some of the choruses on the tracks are admittedly addictive on songs like D Rose yet for the most part the initially absurd and partly amusing lyrics get repetitive after a while.
Conceptually, I think this is close to matching TPAB yet the trap sound used on a lot of the tracks falls flat with production on this album being by far his worst yet. Tracks like XXX and FEAR are lyrically dense and provide with some of the strongest points on the album yet tracks like GOD provide very low lows.
Overall, it’s really good but a little disappointing due to how incredible his prior two albums were.
Poor production that desperately tries to sound alternative matched with occasional subpar rapping. The lyrical content consists of shallow comments on mental health. However some of the production on tracks like Ode to Sleep does sometimes work.
Overall, its nothing that special and feels messy.
