Some just feel forced to expand the tracklist of change little about the original song, but really doesn’t disappoint.
Hard to dislike it when it’s literally just their most popular songs plus two new tracks that both hit home in different ways.
Definitely grew on me. While it's nothing special, it's a decent song that kept me busy. Anyways, the cover art on this one is also great. I love the yellow, but that's cause I just like yellow. Probably alone on this one.
Even though it’s nothing special, I am SO glad we got something new.
I would give this an 100, but I don't listen to it often enough to. Bossfight just casually dropped some of the world's greatest chiptune ever and i'm so here for it.
On par with Linkin Park‘s studio stuff
It's like our friends over at Daft Punk were hyper caffeinated, sleep deprived, high on hallucinogens, and given a synthesizer.
A step towards cohesion for such a wacky band- that works. Surprisingly groovy and definitely sounds Kraftwerk-inspired.
I get what they were going for. They went with what was popular, and I think it worked. Kenbarbielove is actually a top 10 Men Without Hats song though. The boring, repetitive lyricless tracks, though, make the album a bumpy ride.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to check out my music, any support means the absolute world to me! If you could vote on genres and use track ratings, I'd be super appreciative! Thanks again for all of your continued support!
All of the worst aspects of their previous albums combined, but Everybody’s Selling Something is its saving grace. A few tracks like Eloise & I hold their ground, but nothing quite remarkable.
Edit: 65 -> 59
Retrospectively, yeah, there’s nothing too special.
Honestly one of the more overlooked Skillet songs that deserves more
Has some high highs, but too many meh songs. Just give me Diary of Jane on loop, please.
