this new album cycle has weirdly bad lyrics and i'm scared of it

my first thought was "sounds like a charlie puth track" and turns out he cowrote it lmao,, anyways its good i guess ? im probably going to get very sick of it in the next couple of months bc its probably going to play at every radio station but right now im into it

i used to really like them, i saw them live when they were opening for twenty one pilots BUT now i just don't see the appeal anymore? it feels like all of their songs are one track, there's just nothing interesting about this band nor this single

i like this a lot better than joy for some reason, the lyrics are sometimes kinda bad but the music is great

the singles were great, unfortunately the rest boooored me. for swmrs the punkier the better and those more indie songs were just not that good
