and with this wrapping up the beets discography, i believe this is a beautiful album that they ended it on, so many bangers, so much teamwork for a band that was literally breaking up as this album was made, a last hurrah. and it delivered. proud of the beets.
what an ALBUM gosh this had banger after banger after BANGER. the beets really homed in their crafts on this one.
god. the beets really let me down. i know that this is technically just a movie soundtrack, but why was it considered an official album, it was mainly a rehash of previous songs, and a bunch of instrumentals. quite disappointed beets.
not bad, good size, definitely a stronger album for the beets, but so much hype for the white album, this definitely felt disappointing in the long run but BEETS MADE MUSIC WOOOO
man this was a very decisive choice, alot of bangers from the beets but also some strong misses
also im quite let down by penny lane personally, overhyped 💔
the beets really moved in a better direction from revolver, i feel like this is the point where they really looked at psychedelics and experimenting in the studio
proud of the beets!
now THIS was the stand out album the beets needed
i know everyone probably thinks rubber soul changed them, but revolver just sounded so fresh and new, an actual face lift
yeah this did not hit for me im ngl.
the beets really disappointed me in this one, i cannot believe it just felt so muttled and bland
maybe one day i will enjoy this but not today!
the BEETS DID IT!!!
such a solid album, however i do feel like some songs carried this through to the end
A TURNING POINT!!!!!
this album subverts the expectations and finally moves away from the early boy band sound.
its more blues orientated, not to be a shock though as early rock n roll is blues dominated, made it more refreshing to hear and alot more standout tracks on this!
another basic 60’s pop band feel from the beets, quite casual and expected from them, not many major stickouts
‘if i fell’ slapped
felt very flat in comparison for a second album, there were some highlights such as ‘all i’ve got to do’ and ‘til there was you’, but the rest felt quite bland
sad for the beets
Solid first album for the beets
Very 60’s pop music, very blues driven but not too surprised.
