Even though I expect something that would transport me into another world, but Sigur Rós reminds me to have some fun for a bit in this record.
So beautiful, expansive instrumentals, Sigur Ros' signatures dreamy, ethereal, and atmospheric sounds. Just like their other records, this record can make you transcending into another realm. It's like they're painting with sounds, and they're so genius to pick the colours to make this beautiful record.
This is in my top 10 the most beautiful albums I've ever listen to. I'm floating the whole time, I'm transported into another dimension. The way they layer sounds and create this sonic landscape is next level. Just UGH! What a masterpiece.
Emotionally charged vocals by Ian Curtis define a timeless post-punk masterpiece.
I mean my pfp is this iconic album cover and this is literally one of the best albums of all time. So unique, timeless post-punk masterpiece transcending eras.
Still good for me but not as good as their previous albums.
I just love how they painted all these instruments into something that sounds so good to my ears.
It's like they're painting with sounds. I love it.
An epic sonic journey blending every sounds of instruments that I want to hear. And yes, I'm unironically listen to this and all the other albums by this band just because they use every sounds of instruments that I really like.
What a beautiful MASTERPIECE. Very well and unique production, I fucking love it.
I'm a gen z but The Beatles were the second band I listen to since I got into music, and one of my favourite bands of all time. So, to see my favourite band that broke up decades ago before I was born release a song and it's so good, it's the best feeling ever.
I often re-listen to this album and it's still as beautiful as the first listen.
