man, this is disappointing (if not a bit expected).

what a beautiful album - i cant believe i didnt think this would be on here. lo-fi is usually boring to me and comes off as glorified white noise but this is such a nostalgic and intimate project. maybe i'm biased because i discovered it while going through a really tough break up but i love it so much i dont care lol
the final hook is decent but wow this is awful - i've always had a soft spot for oliver tree, yeah his lyrics are usually ass and all his songs are pretty similar but they're fun and i dig his whole "don't care about what other people" aesthetic. saying that, this is fucking awful. production, lyrics, vocals, all fucking terrible. this, his 'deluxe' version of UIB and him 'trolling' his fans have really turned me off oliver - fuck this song and fuck this insufferable piece of shit.
this man has released 3 singles off his next album and announced a tour for it but still hasn't officially said its a name or release date? wtf is going on here???
anyway, it's goodish? i mean, it isn't 18, easily zuckers worst song ever, so i guess that's good but that's really not saying a lot. the rock-y bridge is quite unlikeable and ruins the chill aesthetic of the song but everything else is good, with a few decent lyrics here and there.

average and forgettable - but defo not a bad album. i would rather have an inconsistent album with 6 bangers and 6 bad songs then an consistently average album where all 12 songs are just kinda fine.

"basically, jeremys always been very vocal about social issues like sexual assault on insta and twitter and has said several times/shared infographics about how sexual assault is horrible and people should always listen to victims and cut off people in their life that do sexual assault people. this is all good, right, you'd be pretty hard pressed to find someone that got angry that he believes in these things. however, he doesn't follow these rules himself - he still follows and supports the band LANY, which has been accused of a lot of things he supposedly stands against (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1W2KbOzvCv-WBmVCzHptV8z6K-j6HB9K81rkomWNQHeQ/edit) and instead of addressing and denying these claims the bands lead singer just blocks the words "assault", "sexual", "manipulate", etc.. from his insta and twitter comments, which is trying to supress victims and the truth. if jeremy really believed in what he posts, he would cut himself off from the band; but he doesn't."
