This is not it. Only a couple tracks worth going back to, and one of them is a lesser version of the same song.
Seriously amazing album, the album brings you in to this dreary and depressing soundscape that reflects his mental state at the time.
Would not recommend the movie that shit is wildddd (really immersive though)
Absolutely amazing instrumentals that really show how talented he was in production elements. Holds up even against his latest projects as JPEGMAFIA.
It's pretty good but a bit lackluster compared to Joechillworld. It's just a bit too long.
Huge improvement from Generation Y. Montebello High School Prom and The Power of Madonna are easily his best from the Devon Hendryx era. I will say the version on Spotify is a bit better.
Managing to follow up 'Off the Wall' and 'Thriller' so easily is really impressive.
'Bad' despite it's name, is an amazing finish to one of the greatest three album runs of all time. Just slightly lower than 'Thriller' but still so good. Best intro to a MJ album for sure though.
They call him the 'King of Pop' for a reason.
This album is absolutely fantastic, and easily his best in my opinion.
I've been sleeping on Weyes Blood for a long time now, and I regret it so much. This album is absolutely gorgeous, it feels like being lowered into a deep ocean of beautiful melodies, with each song getting heavier in emotion and depth. Her vocals entranced me and with the instrumentation were a perfect match. I found myself getting choked up multiple times at just the sheer beauty of most tracks.
American Football shows American Football at their highest peak musically since American Football. The production on this is gorgeous, great vocals as well. American Football, while not as good as American Football, is an easy 9/10 and is easily their second best ahead of American Football and American Football.
American Football.
The writing on this is just incredible. The way he uses his voice is captivating, especially on songs like Drinking Age and Nina + Field of Cops.
Good EP, especially only two days after dropping an album. The songs were great but god those vocals on 'tuck me in' were not it, I hope it gets a re-release or something.
The fact that most of these tracks are as good as, if not better than Imaginal Disk is just absurd. I can't wait to see where Magdalena Bay goes from here.
I've always thought of this as Radiohead's 'Vespertine'.
A Moon Shaped Pool is a cold, but beautiful sounding album. It is perfect for listening in cold weather, and has many emotional peaks. Very gorgeous instrumentals, with amazing vocals from Thom.
