Disappointing, underwhelming, experimental in the wrong direction. Their worst album.
In Rainbows is Radiohead's third perfect album. There is a lot to love on this, many emotional and beautiful songs. This was my first Radiohead album I ever listened to, and it is very special to me. Their third best album.
Hail to the Thief is a huge combination of different eras, and it is done very well. It is a tiny bit bloated and messy, but the strong moments on this album make up for it.
Radiohead, after making their best album yet, push the bar even higher. Kid A is the greatest Radiohead album of all time for me, easily. Every song throws the listener in a whole new direction, telling the auditory story of an apocalyptic world. The emotional peaks hit hard and the production, even after many listens, still leaves me amazed.
Radiohead's first perfect album. The Bends is amazing but this is just such a huge step up. Even though it's not my favorite Radiohead album, it makes sense that it is considered their strongest.
Its not even that bad, just a bit bloated. It has amazing songs like You, Creep, and Blow Out, but also has some boring songs like Thinking About You, I Can't and Lurgee.
If it was a shorter form EP then it would probably be higher for me.
I actually didn't like this when it first dropped but it's grown on me heavily since then.
wow okay that was great
title track might be my song of the year so far
Even though 3D Country is a better album experience, there is no denying that they leveled up with Getting Killed. The title track, islands of Men, and Taxes are some of their best work yet. My only gripe is that it is very messy compared to 3DC. Still amazing.
Geese smashed it out the park with this. I think this is their best album so far.
Every song builds from the last and keeps the ball rolling. I love it.
The Beatles' greatest album ever. I have really good memories with this as Sgt Peppers was the first full album I ever listened to, thanks to my middle school music teacher.
Magdalena Bay had such a good debut with Mercurial World. It set their ground perfectly and would eventually lead to their big step up with Imaginal Disk.
Follow the Leader is the only dry spot on this, the rest of it is fantastic.
Pink Floyd in the 70s... what a run. This and Animals are both close for my favorite Floyd album.
Kanye West used to be so special. He was on a whole new level in every aspect. This album makes me miss his talent.
There is nothing quite as beautiful as this. Cocteau Twins are one of a kind.
