I mean I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either. Kanye's production seems to have improved since his last project donda 2 although I can’t say the same for his verses, they were god awful in this song. Dolla sign seems to put in abit of a shift on this song though I found myself enjoying it a lot more once he came in. Chorus is also pretty catchy.
I’m still excited for the eventual release of the album (which will be in 2057) but I really hope we don’t get a ... read more
Wow, just wow. This might just end up being one of my favourite albums to come out this year, I haven’t had this much fun throughout an entire album is quite a while.
Celestaphone is someone I was not aware of before this album and I feel like I have been missing out not listening to his other projects before now.
Mixing rap, jazz and a pinch of psychedelia this album is one of a kind, every song merging together so perfectly the whole album just feels like one massive piece of music. ... read more
Tantor was a ruse, this album was not what I expected at all. “This rap shit done saved my life, and fucked it up at the same time”. This is the first line danny says in the most serious voice we’ve heard in years. You can tell just from the album cover alone compared to previous shows this is the most raw unfiltered version of him yet.
We start the album by hearing a fully sober Danny brown talk about his many past mistakes and loneliness. while we did get this on his 2016 ... read more
This album has left me feeling out of place, “didn’t mean to haunt you” is a neo-psychedelic project with impactful emotionally charged songs spanning at 57 minutes.
Quadeca is on a spiritual journey trying to find himself, regain me memories and move on. In this album he has dead, I know it’s a weird right? but yet an interesting subject for an album I’ve never heard before. He’s searching for enlightenment or called throughout the album as “The ... read more

Jpegmafia. One of my all time favourite artists for the absolute insanity he manages to create purely sampling sounds/music from other media and how consistent he is with his craft.
For my first jpeg project to properly review on here I thought I would choice AMHAC purely because of how venerable he is on this project, while it’s not as aggressive/edgy as his 2018 album “veteran” peggy talks about his deepest inner feelings towards fame, woman and ... read more
I was drawn to this album purely because of the album cover, I am not completely unfamiliar with psychedelic porn crumpets (love that name) work but have never listened to a full project of there’s and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised.
A weird blend of psychedelic, progressive and heavy rock this album has an almost vintage and unique sound to it. There’s so much Karisma present this album you can just tell the band are having a great time recording/writing these songs ... read more
I was never expecting to see anything from injury reserve again after Groggs tragic passing (rest in peace), but this is absolutely incredible one of the best singles I’ve heard this year. That beat drop sent chills down my spine when I first heard it.
I really hope this isn’t some one off songs because these two have the potential, after all “the show must go on”.
This has potential to be one of my favourite experimental rap albums of this year, billy and Kenny really created something obscure here, that’s the only word I could really use to describe it.
The beats being really drawn out and Erie while billy talks about riots, death and destruction and it’s executed perfectly.
The highlight of this album from me has to definitely be year zero where I believe the album has its darkest moments and even Danny brown comes in half way through ... read more
we about to be getting new Danny brown and Peggy album in the same month?? this is truly chronically online people’s black panther
For me the producing is the highlight here, earl is spitting but personally I don’t think he fits very well on alchemist beats very well. Also I some of the songs can feel very drawn out at times with the best staying the exact same for 2 minutes and earls very monotone voice. Interesting collab but personally It just doesn’t work for me. Although I did think vince staples did an amazing job on the two songs he was featured on.
Danny brown was one fucked up dude a few years back and this album is proof of it. Honestly hits even harder now he is out of this downward spiral he was stuck in for so many years
Bakar try not to make the most upbeat song of all time challenge.
All night is my personal favourite the instrumental is so addictive, also summer walker on HELL N BACK was an interesting choice, I haven't fully adjusted to it yet after listening to the original for so many years without her.
Overall a very solid album had me smiling on so many tracks, bakar is just fun.
Honest to god one of the most disturbing and off the wall projects I’ve ever listened to, everyone comparing this producing jpeg when this is its in own different universe.
I feel like I’m being thrown headfirst into devyns twisted and yet wonderful mind with loud noises, insane producing/samples (that you barely even notice half the time) and him rapidly jumping from calming vocals to confused rapping. almost like he isn't phased by the mess that is unfolding or has no idea how to ... read more
Ever since I heard teezo on RUNITUP and the ride I knew he deliver some wacky off the wall project like this, although not as insane I was hoping, it still does it’s job.
Although my only complaint was the original was better. I cannot defend that song at all. after all these upbeat pop punk throughout the whole album he decided to make the last song on the album dubstep? I was expecting some big send off or something but no.
Apart from that it’s a Good first full length project ... read more
I could see what he was going for but most of it just didn't land for me, genuinely started to feel like a ED Sheeran album half way through, although even the songs I didn't like were at least catchy in instrumentally but nothing I can see myself listening to again.
something real and sign me up are enjoyable at least.
Hermanos being a un used track is the biggest flex of 2023
Denzel really has me listening to the same song like 4 times to try and figure out which version of the song is better. hope stays making this kind of music in the future.
