Frizzle Fry is THE quintessential funk metal album. And the only ones that come close are Primus' next two albums. It's a pretty perfect debut album and is a perfect blend of funk and metal. Claypool is one of the greatest bassists of all time and the fact that he can sing while playing his already incredibly technical basslines is why he is my favourite bassist of all time and is also one of my favourite musicians of all time.

Such an amazing alternative metal / nu-metal album. Definitely not their magnum opus but no where near their worst. It's a great bridge between Adrenaline and White Pony. You can really see how Around the Fur has the nu-metal influence from Adrenaline and has some of the material that would go on to inspire White Pony, such as the shoegaze influence.

Man, I don't even know where to start with this review. This is easily one of, if not my favourite album of all time, I love it that much. I first heard this album on an iPod Touch 1st Gen when I was around 7 years old and I've consistently listened to it since then.
