Gecs cannot be beaten, Gecs are life, Gecs are love
it really hurts not to give this a 100, but the ost for beck is filled with some masterpieces and amazing rock, but other tracks that arent from the main band just dont hit as hard sadly
This feels like looking up at the night sky, the full moon whilst youre embraced by the cold water of the lake.
Seriously this is beautiful, in every sense of the way, robert smith wanted to create something that will define his and the cures career and I think the band made one of the most beautiful pieces of art ever to be created. Its heart breaking, its comforting, its nostalgic, its tragic, its magical, its beautiful. Please listen to this. This album was there for me when I needed it. ... read more
the more i listen the more i want. i know every song by heart, by tear, by sweat. the emotion displayed by lincoln is raw and makes me feel.
CALL ME BIAS, i listened to most of the songson here when i was going through a hard time with my mental health, and the themes of this album reflect that. its honestly crazy how much music is dependent on the individual and that individuals mental health.
my body, its moving by--- by itSELF AAAAAAAAAAAAA

This might just be my favourtie album of all time. Ive at first wasnt sure what i felt towards it, but with time I loved every track more and more. This was also released in 2005 which was the year when I was born. The albums dwells on Conors personal life during an awful war and how he expirenced it all.
Begining with the fantastic passive aggressive "At The Bottom Of Everything" which to me, who has struggled with the effects of the internet on my psyche, just reads as conor ... read more

i dont even think this song sounds bad, its not badly mixed or anything, but it is weird. for a song thats supposed to be about how she hates her life, she doesnt seem to give a shit at all. As i mentioned the mixing isnt bad, but it sounds like a typical indie song youd listen to while on a drive. theres nothing to distinguish it by then that one single "i dont care" which is cool, but simply not enough.
well like... it isnt good, like i dont really know nothing really ... read more
This album begins with George song "taxman" and its just amazing, its so rich with rhythm and just an amazing rock song. The whole album continues beautifully. The first 6 songs are literal perfection, perfectly paced, perfectly produced. The instrumantaion is so rich like "Love you to", "eleanour rigby", "Here there and everywhere". LItteraly theyre amazing. yellow submarine is a great song and is certanly an imrpovment from "What goes on". I ... read more
I would say i like this as much as "A Hard Days Night" the whole album has fun tracks with really no filler. But also some of the tracks are underwhelming. Help! Is a great song and a good introduction tk the album. You've got to hide your love away is an amazing track, the production on the track is just perfect. You're gonna lose that girl sound like a phineas n ferb song, and I'm glad it does cause it makes for a fun listen with that image I mn your head. There are other good ... read more
This album is fine, idk its really bland and standard nothing too interesting, especially in the first half. But after eight days a week it honestly gets better. "Hey Don't" really isn't special, but Ringos comments "Play it for me George" when George starts playing a solo makes me smile. And besides "Eight Days a Week" I though I don't want to party was a fun track that couldve easily fit ono "A Hard Days Night". Everything else is juts fine. It's ... read more

SOooooo i i havent really returned to the album from when i heard it. maybe sometimes when i first lsitned to it, but i never really listed to it as a whole again, this album is deffinetly catchy, and just wonderful to listen to. Im unsure why exactly i liked it so much, but i think it was cause of the situtaion, and it sounded beautiful. But ywah, still a great album.

We reached "A Hard Day's Night". The first half like the first 7 songs are all honestly catchy and great. Especially: A Hard Days Night, Cant Buy Me Love, If I Fell, And I Love Her. LIke seriously, this is such a step up from their previous album and i dont understand how its so much better. The writing of the songs doesnt annoy me like it did on the previous one and the production on a lot of these songs is just steller. Although there still are two filler songs. This album and "Please Please Me" are essentailly equal in quality to me. Its very hit or miss to me. "It wont be long" while being one of the more popular tracks, it just annoys me. Im not sure why but the hook just annoys me. But we also have tracks like "Please MIster Postman" which is insanly catchy and good. In general there are some good moments like "Till There Was You", "All my loving". And the songs like "You Really Got a Hold on ... read more
dis a mastapis right ere. For an album with 19 tracks they really managed to create 0 filler tracks. The production on it is amazing, the brass gives this album such a unique feel, the piano blends in amazingly and the guitar. oh the guitar, it made me litteraly and metaphoricly cum. The clean sounding guitar on trcak like "lost in the supermarket" is just djiawdjauwfha. And the small fills in many of the songs. Its amazing, if you have the chance listen to it.
