Basically what would happen if you took all the worst pop songs of the eighties, put them in a blender, and overplayed it to the point where, even if it was a good song, it would still be overplayed.
Interesting how this became their most popular album - despite being by far their worst (at least that I've heard) - because of Down With the Sickness alone.
This might actually be the worst cover song to be recorded and distributed by a mainstream band.
A masterpiece of stupid. I wish they kept making albums like this instead of leaning in to being 4chan: The Band.
Better than I was expecting. Instrumentals are great, and the voice is far less terrible, or at least it's not as noticeable.
Do you think Eminem is happy or sad that he's been dethroned as the most try-hard edgy rapper out there for just one line about trans people? (No dis to Em)
In cancel culture's vicinity, he's no killer, trust me
Beneath his chosen identity [as someone who can challenge Kendrick], there is still a pussy, period
Would be so much better without that bridge. Even as a teen, the Helen Keller references were shocking.
It's like they set out to make 3oh!3 sound less douchey by comparison.
I liked this song as a kid. Now I have to relate to it.
Edit: I mean that in the least "I'm a grown-up now. Woe is me," way possible.
Yeah, I don't know why it's THIS hated. For me, it was too forgettable to give me any kind of reaction good or bad.
Not sure why Nicki and Megan are beefing. And if this is what comes out of it, I'm not sure if I care.
But Megan's putting out better music than Nicki is now.
Edit: Okay, after a second listen, and looking into some of the lyrics, this is a lot worse now. Also what the hell was that long post-song monologue. Fuck this song.
The queen is dead.
Really good despite Will-I-Am's efforts to tear it down.
High Points: Roman's Revenge, Right Thru Me, Fly, Moment 4 Life, Your Love
Low Points: Did It On Em, Check It Out
Putting the religious track, Blessings, alongside songs like Super Freaky girl was an interesting choice.
Best tracks: Barbie Dangerous, Beep Beep, Super Freaky Girl, Ruby Red Da Sleaze, Just the Memories
Worst tracks: Are You Gone Already, Pink Friday Girls, My Life
If I woke up in Chris Brown's body, I'd just walk down the street, punching everybody I see in the face, solely for the rush of knowing neither me or Chris would get in trouble for any of it.
This song is good in concept. Taking an excerpt from a love song and making it seem more depressing in the context of a song about a man on his death bed. But did they have to make the sample so annoyingly pitch shifted.
Powfu is not a talented enough rapper to make up for the hook, or to give the verses the power that they need.
Weak by early Metallica standards, but still changed the face of metal forever.
At least Baby had the excuse of being a song for little girls.
Extremely dumb. Any other song this dumb would at least be fun. Not this time. Faithfully recreates what it's like to be dirty talked by somebody with a fetish for pretending to be a little kid. To the point where you just walk as far away as possible, and never return.
