His most "bloated" album, but I think this one is also his best. The run from Wake Me Up to Open Hearts is just pure insanity. One of the issues I've read w this album is how too long most of the songs are, but I just find most of them great as is. What an impressive trilogy. This was released on my birthday, i'll take this as a very cool gift thank you very much. :D

Titanic Rising is the first album I rated here on this website. I was still a graduating student that time, so listening to a new Weyes Blood project during my different, and difficult, chapter in my life felt special in a way.

My 1000th rating here on this website, and it happened to be the contender for my fave albums this year. I think this record is not hard to love; the chaotic moments still sound heavenly and the hooks are just irresistible. Everything's a mess right now (especially when you have the fact that you're in PH lol), but records like this are just a breath of fresh air.
This album feels warm. Like a person who wants to hold your hand. And like a flaming meteorite that plummets to earth.
