I remember hearing this shit when it dropped and thinking “this guy is gonna release some crazy stuff in the future” and yet he has only regressed from here
fakemasterpiece?
Terrified has all of the surface level trappings of a magnum opus; unrully levels of ambition, extreme conceptual focus and immersive worldbuilding, yet Terrified still doesn't land all the way there into 'masterpiece' territory, even though it certaintly views itself as such.
Regardless, this album is still a terrific display of talent and artistic vicion from Fakemink, establishing him as an artist that is at the forefront of the new generation of hip hop. ... read more
Easily my goat's worst project, however it still displays more risk taking and versatility than the majority of the current hip hop landscape. Biggest issue for me is the fast flow, it was cool on the singles but for an entire hour, it can get quite grading.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing these songs live because of the sheer aggression and energy all over this record

The sampling here is unbelieveable.
Aviv's ability to produce such dense, hazy soundscapes is astounding.
Lyrically there's a lot to digest here, with the whole project feeling like one constant stream of thought, with topical twists and turns around every corner.
First ever time delving into Aviv’s work and wow, I feel like this is already an artist that will stick with me for many many years.
