obviously it's not as good as million dollar baby, but it's still very catchy and will be on repeat for me
it's a little too short though
Thanks to Brad for the recommendation, but at the same time the score went below 80 and I hate you guys for it.
the deluxe songs fit right in with the standard ones. spring breakers is pretty sick
Edit: 82 -> 87
I really underrated this album upon first listen. The hype is actually so real and I get it. I feel like this album will have such a big influence on pop music in the future.

she really said, what if i made an album just full of club hits?
it's cute and short, but maybe too short. it's perfect for an interlude, but kinda weird to release it as the 2nd single to your album. hoping the next single is better
first album I've listened to from this artist and I love this very much. even though I do not understand the non-English parts, it's still quite meditative and just invokes deep thought, or at least that's what it sounds like it's supposed to be doing. I'm a sucker for the chamber folk genre and this also has equal parts chamber jazz mixed in with I also love. beautiful vocals and beautiful production, there's very little to dislike besides the spoken word bit in track 4. after multiple listens, this has become my favorite out of the 3 singles so far. Porter's songwriting has come so far that he can write about topics as personal as this while masked under a cheery instrumental in his self proclaimed "happy sad" sound. the verses are both depressing and funny at times, it's very refreshing to hear such different sounds from every new single. the new album is gonna be so good because how can it not be when every song is this amazing ππ
better than most of what he's been releasing for a long, long time, but it's still just okay. it's a little too short and on top of it, the amazing choir vocals aren't even well incorporated into the instrumental. it sounds like Roddy is just rapping next to it with his generic trap drums and average lyrics. still, it does sound like please excuse me era Roddy again and I hope the next single will be even better than this one fingers crossed.
slightly more catchy and slightly better vocals than 1:59, which is to say it's still very mid. Normani attempts like 20 different hooks and refrains on this song and none of them are all that catchy or good.
Sarah McLachlan's magnum opus is a heartwarming and personal album that is a near masterclass in songwriting backed by beautiful dreamy and alt-rock production. It's a must-listen for anyone interested in the singer-songwriter genre.
