Took me a few listens but yeah I’m convinced. The only complaint I can really levy onto this song is the intro does feel a bit heavy handed and long for a song that doesn’t even cross the 3 minute mark. Outside of that, definitely a banger that signals that he is back to a more straightforward approach to his music. Those trumpets are hella catchy too.

Yeah, fair enough. Drop Dead was just an appetizer. This is the main course. This is phenomenal

At times can feel a little one note, plus I think some of the songs definitely have room for growth. But on the whole, a great debut! With how he talks about this project, we may not see much more in terms of music. But hey, at least what we got met expectations.

Worst track: mailman

I know they say separate the art from the artist but what the actual hell man. Here With Me, I feel like a shitty person listening to it but at least it’s a well written song. This is horrendous, even without the context of the convictions. It’s a bad song pulled down further by an even shittier context.
