Quite potentially one of the most timeless records ever?
I still remember the first time I got into Pink Floyd, somewhere in the beginning of the year. It was late, yet I still chose to listen to this instead of sleeping (it was vacation btw) and The great gig in the sky gave me a reaction that I would've never expected. This album clearly has an INSANE amount of effort put into it, because there is just so much to dissect! I'm not gonna write about EVERYTHING, or else no one's ... read more
According to this site, the king of limbs is considered Radiohead's second worst album. I partially understand why, but I agree with the fact it's underwhelming. It's unique, but doesn't hit any Radiohead type of highs.
Radiohead, once again goes for a different style, this time with looping and samples. It also has multiple layers of each instrument. This creates a thick atmosphere, so even if it loops, you still pay attention. This is a lot different than other albums ... read more
Lowest rated LP/EP yet. I actually have a reasoning for this.
This. EP. Is quite possibly the most boring experience ever. It's literally just random Adderall filler. The original song in itself is such a drastic switch in style from Slipknot, that it feels questionable why it's even there. And so, they made an EP over an existing song, and somehow made the reputation of it worse.
Slipknot has simultaneously created an album that I eventually could've put above Plastic Death ... read more
Hell for a basement has been in the top 10 for a really long time now, and after a couple listens, I could see why.
I didn't like this album upon first listen, and my reviews are usually one or two listens, so I could've left this a lower rating. I didn't expect this album to sound like this, and I wasn't a big fan of it. I gave it another chance, and it started to hit me. This is a really good album, and in terms of consistency, this would be better than Wetdream.

Thanks for the rec, @vndnath!
This is officially my first Hip Hop review. I decided to give it a quick listen, and it's pretty good! Love the synth work. Cover is genuinely peak though oh my god
My fifth highest rated album, tied with glass beach's debut. This seriously is THAT good
While the quality differs with each track, the second half is by far better than the first. I usually don't rate stuff 100s unless it really is perfect, and Fake and Daddy fit that description.
Fake is unnerving, scary, but my main point was the post chorus. Even if it's short, it carries the identity to me. This entire album sounds really dark and disturbing, because a 7 string guitar is ... read more
A major upgrade by Radiohead, going from Pablo Honey to this is really amazing.
I like the contrast this has. Both slow and intense songs are here, alternating every couple tracks. I like that, both sides are equally as strong.
Black star is one of the best in Radiohead's discography, and absolutely no-one will convince me otherwise. I'm surprised on how underrated it really is, it's one of the least streamed on the entire album.
For some downsides, Sulk's vocals ... read more
From a Eurovision winner, this is the type of stuff I would expect from them.
There isn't anything particularly noteworthy here, although the drumming in some parts were creative. Despite the fact In nome del padre was on the weaker side, the drumming was probably the best there.
I wanna be your slave is a good song. I seriously thought everyone was on the same page on this, but a 66?? Yes, it's overplayed, but the song is a real vibe. Might be a hot take to say this might be my ... read more
I've listened to this plenty of times already, and now is the time to finally review it.
This entire album really doesn't have any skips, every song feels like a standout track. I find it weird but cool that 15 step is so much more energetic than the typical Radiohead, but it's literally about suicide
I never get moved to the point I get to tears, but I remember Nude being the closest I got to that point. Nude is genuinely an amazing song, and the fact it's followed up ... read more
THIS is what I expected Megadeth to sound like. Their most recent album was not a good first impression, but this made up for it.
It took me a while to form an opinion, probably because of the amount of solos I have to keep track of. Hanger 18 is two verses and the rest is largely solos. That isn't bad, although it isn't my thing. Most solos did sound pretty similar to each other.
Holy War...Punishment Due and Lucretia are probably the best here. Lucretia especially is really ... read more
I didn't expect this to win, but the staging really was excellent. Not a giant fan of the song, but it's certainly a vibe!
I liked the overall vibe, but jeez this is all over the place. I'm not entirely sure if I'm gonna listen to Reality Awaits anymore.
I still don't understand why this didn't qualify. The fact this was behind Jalla is unreal
My first metal album! I used to be like obsessed with this, my top artist for 4 weeks for a reason.
While I do think this album is sick, I feel like it's a bit overrated? Most tracks here are bangers, but the greatest metal album oat is a really big statement. I wouldn't say it's the greatest, but probably somewhere up there!
The vocal side is strong. I like how Daron has a wide range, and is less traditional. I was actually so shocked on ATWA, I didn't know he could sing ... read more
I expected something else, but this isn't that great. I like the overall vibe, but autotune was not necessary. The ending transitions awkwardly as well. This is decent, not amazing.
WOAH I did NOT expect Dear Diary to bless my ears like that🙏
After the opener, everything kinda falls off. Features on a metal album is new to me, but YUNGBLUD? To be honest, the worst part on the album. He sings in this really overbearingly emo way. I wasn't a big fan of Oli's vocals in general, but it was good enough where the songs still felt cool. Most features all didn't really land, but Amy Lee was cool. BABYMETAL was kinda surprising to see, but they rocked holy. Nova ... read more
After a month of waiting, Diamond Morning has finally dropped. Am I satisfied? Hell yeah. (20th review btw!!)
I kinda forgot how the singles sounded like lol, so immediately hearing djent riffs was surprising. I'm not sure what Thall is, but after research, Thall seems like a really cool and atmospheric genre.
Despite how much I liked this album, there are some downsides. There are rap sections here. It felt kinda out of place, because nearly every other song doesn't have that, ... read more
Thank you @sUrviv4lh0rrorr for recommending me this!
I saw this album a lot of times on this app, but nothing really pulled me into it. I'm glad I got to experience this gem.
This is by far the most proggy and jazz album that I have listened to. Barely any 4/4 moments here. But that makes it unique. This is very unconvential, not at all like the usual.
867 is HIGH-key one of my favorite songs ever. The vocals are one of my favorite parts about the song, feels so powerful and urgent. ... read more
