I don't want to say anything that might offend anyone, but the more I delve into this guy's music, the more I feel that he and Waera are the Pharrell Williams of “early Rage” beats. They're some serious minds in a niche scene. And after that track, I was convinced that Slayr wouldn't be able to wear people out with just one style so quickly, because he'll mix it up in such a way that it'll feel different.
Future Tyla's smooth chorus, everything's really cool here. Except that I feel even less of a World Cup vibe than I did at Tukoh in Qatar. The song is awesome I can listen to it over and over. The duo works really well together. A song promoting the World Cup or a World Cup anthem? No way. Sure, hip-hop, the U.S., the homeland it all makes sense, but still, no.
We know, he is a GOAT. I was just a little disappointed. I thought it would be the undisputed album of the year. My immediate thought is: why did I miss this last year? Every song is a kind of composition. If there were any long-lived underwater CREATURES, this is how I imagine their album would sound. It's embarrassing to do something as bland as a comeback. I would never in my life release this as a single, let alone as the first one. Maybe it’s supposed to be some kind of surprise effect that makes me wonder why. But it’s not positive in the slightest...
