as much as this project is OBJECTIVELY good (lyricism, production, etc.), i just can’t get past his voice. it is definitely a personal thing where his vocals just really bother/irk me but seeing past that i acknowledge it is a really well done and cohesive project.
this album is so atmospheric and the flow of the production and the vocals meshes so well together. inspirational stuff truly
i had fun with this album! while it’s not super unique (esp for king gizzard themselves) i can totally jam to this
my favorite of their albums (at least from what i’ve heard bc their discography is soooo expansive)
i feel like miley really came into her own on this album and it’s the best music she has done. this is her element!!
while this is better than her first single (lyrically at least) it once again feels unfinished. her voice also sounds rough in this song but i do still like it a decent amount
this album encapsulates female emotion so well. it is definitely a product of its time but that is not a bad thing. the lyrics are seething with emotion and Alanis’s voice feels so raw and natural which helps convey the emotion even better. a must hear album!!!
beautiful collection of indie folk songs. the production is iridescent
a really good indie rock record with lush production and beautiful vocals. soccer mommy is underrated af in my opinion
