i enjoyed this album a decent amount but i think there was a bit of repetitiveness to the sound that doesn’t make every song distinct. however, peck’s deep voice alongside the twangy guitar and lush melodies make for a decent listen.
the anthology is far better than the original album and has some of her best, most vulnerable lyricism ever. unfortunately it gets overshadowed by some of the tamer more boring songs that have some cringey lyrics. all things considered, the songs on the anthology that really stand out put this record at an 80.
a beautiful collection of soulful songs with adrianne’s twangy voice and creative lyrics. this album is painful but audibly stunning.
one of the most beautiful alluring albums ever created. puts you in a dream like trance
one of the only albums that i consider perfect. this album captures the feelings of the early 00s while simultaneously remaining a timeless album.
as much as I love cigarettes after sex, their music really does kind of all sound the sameðŸ˜
there is some beautiful music in here!! i also love how experimental gorillaz is with their music (:
a beautiful collection of folksy slow songs with some incredible vocals and devastating lyricism
tyler really outdid himself with this album. it’s nothing like the music we had from before and i love that he was able to experiment with different genres.
pretty decent album! i can see the complaints about the repetitiveness but the standout tracks are some of the best indietronica music in the past decade
the melodies on this album combined with the gritty voice of the lead singer makes this album uniquely heartbreaking, confusing, and yet still sonically pleasing
