on par with twin fantasy tbh...

The highs on this album were so high (Helpless Child/The Sound), but many of the songs are just added for runtime and it gets painfully boring to get through. I might come back to it later and give it another listen. But this is what my rating is right now.

This album is a HUGE step up from the bands earlier projects. I love this.

I want to like this album as much as everyone else does I really do, but the 1st, 3rd, and 4th tracks are not up to the standards as the 2nd track is. The Gerogerigegege is a song to be remembered. I love the raw emotion put into it so much. The instrumentation is leagues better than all the other songs on this album. Its loud and noisy, which I love.

Slightly better than Filth because of the Piano.

I'm really not a fan of this era of Swans.
