This whole album’s sound is truly 2000s and outdated sounding, but it’s still solid in my eyes. There are some classics on here, such as Pain, Animal I Have Become, band Never Too Late, but besides those, only a few others stand out. The beats on here can get stale, like in the lower end, but they don’t suck, they just don’t match the vocalist as much. The sound of this is kinda grungy and emo, but not too much where I roll my eyes at it. Overall, a solid listen with ... read more
Exactly what the hell is this? She’s gone out her mind, consider retirement this instant
While this tape is pretty solid, I kinda notice that this was kinda running in one direction. Xaviersobased & features all did good, no real standouts, and the sound of this is typical Xav, nothing to new. While the performances don’t differ to much in quality, and same with the beats, I kinda just wish that there was more energy, more “1C swagger” to this, but it sounds more watered down than anything. Overall, still a solid tape from Xav, and I’m honestly not ... read more
This is a great single and pretty diverse from anything else HM has done in 2023-24, I hope and expect Turnabout to act more on this Salem/witch house type of sound.
This whole mixtape is a diamond in the rough if you look at Kodak’s whole discog, it really is a gem of it’s time. This whole mixtape is full of well crafted beats and Kodak’s voice working flows, even if his voice sounds weird as hell sometime on some tracks. I really don’t get bored throughout this project, even though it’s 24 tracks and probably around an hour, and that’s because Kodak’s lyrics, flows, and these beats captivates me, as the sound here ... read more
Although while the sound is repetitive, I thought I’d like this much less than I did. I’d say his voice keeps me engaged, as he truly does have a great singing voice, especially with the type of shit he’s known to constantly talk about. Another thing that kept me from being bored is his flows, it’s a kinda underrated part of his songs that I kinda noticed. He has multiple, and each one really doesn’t sound too awkward, it all runs smooth. Overall, while beat ... read more
I’ve been waiting for this for so long. Glad to see it out now. (Happy new year’s btw)

While this ain’t really no new genre, it does show creativity and sweetness. This whole sound kinda sounds like some 8-bit wedding music with some muffled drums in the background, and with Yhap’s soothing and calm voice, it really plays into that sound nicely. Overall, while it is heavily one noted, the sound doesn’t last for long and it’s a quick and enjoyable listen on my end.

This dude’s delivery is really what sells this for me, it’s so intense and it makes these tracks that much harder. The beats on here sound like some evil shit, something that fits his lyrics and voice. The features on here do they’re thing, with Smoke and Osama fitting in nicely. Overall, solid collection of tracks, nothing to complain about except for length.

While this isn’t bad, the people are right with this being underwhelming. This mixtape is mixed energied, with some tracks having the “Don’t Get Took Off” type of energy, but then some tracks have a more chill, heavy auto tone type of energy, which in my opinion don’t play with his skill set. The tracks that do come off as more disrespectful and more energetic are my favorites, even if those are ... read more

This project sees Osamason really taking that step that I wanted him to take to diversify his sound. In his last project, Osama Season, he really did kinda sound like Ken. This new project however, his sound is really deprived away from that, even if it’s mainly through the consistently good-great production on here. Overall though, it’s a noticeable improvement from Osama, a very welcomed new.

While the new Hackle mixtape s slightly worser than his debut, I still look at this as something positive. This whole project is filled with ideas we really haven’t seen Hackle try yet, which really makes me think that HM is trying new things out, seeing what sounds they can experiment with, which makes me happy to see people like Turn and now Hackle trying new things, it makes me even more happy knowing that ... read more

Yeah, it’s an improvement, but it’s nothing special. The only improvement I noticed is that it doesn’t seem like he’s trying to hard on tracks, the tracks on here are calmer, other than that, it’s mostlt the same sound that I don’t really like. Doesn’t help when every feature honestly ruins the track, with either just a bad performance, or they just make the track longer than ... read more

“Truly Me” even though it’s only two tracks, I sensed a sign of improvement through variety and energy, something I hoped for coming from his last mixtape “the world is yours”. This tape has more unique beats to them, and more lifely vocals, along with the vocal chops, it really makes elijxh’s voice more interesting and unique to me. Overall, improvement on all fronts, nothing to complain ... read more

While this projects sound I’m here for, I worry how he’ll progress in the future. This mixtape sound is dark, mysterious, and overall pretty cool sounding. Elijxh’s voice on here while can seem uninterested still has high points of melodies and energy on here. The only reason I’m a little worried for his future sound is because this could’ve been better with much more variety put into it. ... read more

Don’t know if I’m just tired, but it was genuinely hard not to fall asleep or this mixtape, I was so close to just unironically sleeping. This whole though is nothing different from iayze, it’s really the same actually. iayze on here constantly just has the same vocals, same flows, and it truly does get boring sleep or not sleeping. Overall, nothing special or new, was expecting a little bit more ... read more

Holy shit, how is this so much more worser than his other tapes? On this mixtape, iayze could give less of a shit, this tracks feel like a record looping over for eight times. The beats on here are fine, but it’s really iayze that comes with the same voice, he has weird all over the place flows throughout this mixtape too, but not good ones, like he jumps in and forget the flow he originally had so he just says ... read more
