This album has a variety of sounds to it, it showed that Keem was versatile before The Melodic Blue. Baby Keem on here sometimes is left to be desired, but more times than not, he delivers on the beat that’s given to him, whether it’s acoustic, trap, somewhat of pop, he delivers most times. Even with the short run time though, if 1-2 tracks were cut from the end, it would’ve probably been better than it is ... read more

God, this sound isn’t awful, but throughout this whole thing I felt I was looping some outro to a movie. The sound here is soft, fine, and overall inoffensive, but at certain points do they think they can just switch it up sometimes? Damn near every track I just felt was close to the same, just a different melody to it. The vocals are fine, maybe they were talking about something, I didn’t really notice, i ... read more

Honestly, I don’t mind Lil Baby, but holy shit this was so much more worser than I’d thought it’d be. The main issue here is a lack of energy and variety, the beats barely change, and same goes with Lil Baby, he always comes with half assed flows and sounds like he’s trying not to wake up his mom recording this shit. The features help, but not by much, as even some of the features do worser than the ... read more

God, this is such a boring record, honestly a quarter, maybe even half of these tracks could’ve not been included and I would care less. Drake’s been doing this, padding out tracks with the same moody and boring rnb sound he always does, it never changes, and this is no exception. The first disc is more positive, with more energy and life within the tracks, but honestly is still good, more just fine. The second ... read more

Very beautiful sounding EP, it’s sound is majorly consistent and helps that Summrs has smooth and clean vocals all throughout this EP, everything just works with each other and it all runs very smoothly. Overall, love the sound of this and Summrs holds his own most times.

Day: 200 (ayy)
This project overall has a bright, and happy sound, with it not overblowing too much at all through this short album. Ken Carson on here has energy, something I really haven’t heard from him coming from “X” and “A Great Chaos”. And while this sound is for sure not boring, the tracks do get a tad bit boring because of short verses, making the hook being repeated around three times in a ... read more

What a awful way to leave the Culture series, it really seemed at most points any of the Migos could care less about the song. This whole album was a slog to get through kinda, and was only carried around the second half by better production, if it wasn’t there it was bad, and that’s were the lowlights kick in. It’s crazy because I already knew this would be a pain to thug out by track six, and I had 13 ... read more

Day: 198
This album’s sound is very one note, but it gets away with it for some time on here until like the last couple of tracks. One of the main things holding this back is the fact that it comes off as trying to hard or being way too overproduced in trying to be energetic, it’s really the biggest issue on here besides the voice, it’s half times just annoying or grating on here. Overall, even if it’s not ... read more

This is overall a very solid rnb project, with very calm and upbeat bops all throughout it. The sound of this just sounds heavenly at points, really an estimate at how god this was crafted, and with Sampha’s voice, it just adds on to the nice mood and atmosphere it was already bringing. Overall, a very chill, nice, and smooth record that flows greatly throughout, would for sure recommend.

I think this new project he has coming is really bout to separate Yeat from a lot of others, judging off of this and some snippets
This is ass to the fullest extent, I can’t believe how bootleg something can sound.

Day: 196
This whole album really never slows down until the last couple tracks, straight constant hype for a good solid hour. Waka and his multiple features bring energy to these intense and hype ass beats, with most of the features actually bringing in great performances to help out the track massively, even though I think Waka could probably hold his own for some more tracks on here. Overall, the only sort of complaint I have is ... read more

This album is full of versatile flows, voices and beats, and is a smooth listen all the way through. This album has JID going a variety of ways in his songs, some going more melodic, some going more energetic, and some going more mellow and chill, but any sound that he attempts goes across smoothly, but some sound better than others. JID never seems to grow tired and never stops being witty with his rhymes, his flows, ... read more

God he can’t make anything else other than his sad shit. This whole album’s sound is so repetitive, sad trap. The only thing that makes Rod Wave stand is his voice, it’s honestly pretty good and the first and last tracks show what his songs could be, good. This honestly one of the most repetitive albums I have ever heard to be honest, straight copy and paste. Overall, this album shouldn’t be 18 ... read more

This sound is so minimal, plain, but the vocals and so much atmosphere to these tracks, it really carries here. The tracks on here are soothing and calm, pretty chill, the mood being emphasized from the gentle vocals and the subject matter being mainly reflective. Overall, this short EP is really consistent in its sound, and it’s overall a smooth listen all the way through.

Deadass is actually worser than his last EP he dropped, and that was a 2/10. This whole EP shows one clear thing to me, Dababy has never changed and I don’t think he ever will. It doesn’t matter the flow of the track, the beat, he keeps on doing the same thing, and eventually people won’t care anymore, which is probably why if he doesn’t step up the effort, his next album/anything longer than three ... read more

While people mind the mixing, I really don’t mind it at all, I don’t think there would be a different if the mix was better, i personally think it adds to the feel of this album, it’s really emphasized kinda because of the mix. Overall, cool sound, but Tony Tony kinda carries this.

This whole album comes off as Offset trying a bunch of different sounds, but only really succeeding at a couple. The album itself is really bloated, it never needed to be 21 tracks, with some tracks dragging out to long as well. The sound is just a mixed bag, seeming like Offset just heard a song and wanted to make something similar to it. His voice isn’t really bad, it’s just that it seems like everything he ... read more

This takes what I like about dance and mashes it up with some fun pop, and it works out beautifully. The whole sound of the album makes me feel good, makes me feel nice, it’s all so smooth sounding, which leads to this album being so consistent. Troye’s voice helps too, with it adding to the soothingness of this record, as his voice is really nice sounding. Overall, this record is the type of record you’d ... read more
