And people say they peaked at None So Vile. Holy fuck no - they peaked as soon as they started and then continued from there.
This album is indescribable. Every single member of the original 5 members in this album plays their own integral and delicate role in maintaining the insanity of this crazy record.
What's there not to say about Lord Worm's vocals. Insane, agonising, completely relentless.
Flo's drumming is like nothing i've ever heard before. If I even ATTEMPTED ... read more
Personal favourite record of Joey's run (up to now).
Was incredible seeing them all live again a few weeks ago. I'd kill to see them for a second time.
Lovely Rec from @paul
Really quiet, gentle album. Very enjoyable to sit back and let it flow all over you like some deep waves.
Fuck Euronymous, Fuck Varg (even though he wasn't involved in this one).
Decent EP though despite the insanity of this band.
As someone who is into a great amount of ambient - and metal at the same time, this album is a different, yet welcome sight. It's very gentle as compared to all of their other work. If you're into gentle, surreal ambient works but aren't into the rest of their content, i'd highly recommend this album.
An incredible sophomore follow-up to their debut. Seriously underrated album. Feels like all this time the masters of Deathrash haven't aged a second.
Full album - 87.5/1000
Full album with bonus tracks (Death Before Dawn, Thrashaholic, Dying day, Life's Blood) - 88/100
A personal favourite Deathrash album of mine. Pat Lin's vocals are some of the raspiest, evil tones i've ever heard from any metal album full stop. The riffs feel disgustingly devilish. All together it produces a wonderful album, with it's evil rivaling some of Death Metal's greatest creations.
It's uh- Let's just say not my thing. But I mean if you're here to see what the genre is like, it's pretty self explanatory at least. If this is your thing more power to you, but. Yeah. I really dunno what else to say lmaooo
People will put me on a cross for this.
I cannot vibe with DDS. It doesn't feel like vaporwave to me. It just doesn't.
Created this LP on AOTY as it wasn't on previouisly.
I genuinely can't put into words this album and it's impact it's had on me. This is, in my opinion, the greatest Synthwave album of all time. Undisputed, undeniable. Tim's ability to create such gentle yet incredible tunes needs to be studied. I genuinely thank him with all my heart for the impact these 9 tracks have had on my life in the past almost 8 years.
Each and every song on this is as comforting and ... read more
A little bit of local work! Absolutely love the passion these 4 bring to all their albums.
HKE and Telepath never fail to disappoint. Honestly I don't think they ever have. This album is fucking incredible.
If you're into heavenly, quiet, cyberpunk like synths with minor snippets of city ambience droned in the background; you'll genuinely feel high with this album.
Even if you're not, regardless of the genre(s) you're into; I can almost guarantee that you will be blown away by lying down with this album for the full hour and letting your worries melt away ... read more
While the original and re-recordings are utter masterpieces, I enjoy engaging with the re-recording a lot more than the original. Purely due to the fact that Max's vocals are so much more prevalent; as well as the fact that the already absurdly aggressive sound has somehow been pushed to sound even more aggressive. I fucking love it. Despite the slight lack of Guitar punch in the re-recording as compared to the original, I still find them both amazing.
Max Calavera's ever so ... read more
Incredible use of a variety of sounds. Really brings out the nature feel amongst the Jazz.
