The early 90's saw a thrashy form of Death Metal emerge and many new ideas being tested in the field. War Master feels like just a few too many ideas crammed together on each song. So much is trying to be said that there is no real distinction from one track to the next, just a series of riffs pasted together to form a shreddy and energetic mix, albeit cluttered.
