Intro... Unleashed (Upon Mankind) begins with an ambient entrance. After about a minute it hits with a standard but solid classic riff, very much in their wheelhouse already. I like the structure here it, picks up nicely. A solid beginning, the solo is fun.

The early 90's saw a thrashy form of Death Metal emerge and many new ideas being tested in the field. War Master feels like just a few too many ideas crammed together on each song. So much is trying to be said that there is no real distinction from one track to the next, just a series of riffs pasted together to form a shreddy and energetic mix, albeit cluttered.
Wow what was I missing out all of these years? This is just incredible, now I can't wait to listen to their entire discography.
