Weirdest Story:
I went to a record store in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and found this album on vinyl for $20. The cover looked interesting, so I took the risk and gave this random album I had never heard before a chance. I heard the first 2 songs from my phone and thought that it sounded great. Come to find out that Vieux Farka Toure would be performing that very night in Santa Fe. Wasn’t as big on this album compared to Flood and their self-titled. Still a lot of great moments though.
It’s good but like hyperpop tends to always be this low quality or it’s really good and know how to balance it well. Here it is a mixed bag. Still mostly good though.
