the deaner's delivery on bumblebee was fuller of raw emotion and tragedy than the odissey
the sound engineering of this album is nothing short of monumental. also this record made ween sound like a completely normal band for some reason.
one of the first records I ever owned. sounds as fresh as the first listen after all these years
It sounds so large it makes me want to cry and rip my skin off, 10/10 listen
I think that the absolute pain in the ass that was recording this absolute beast of a record was really really, definetly worth it.
words can't give enough justice to elliott and his brutal honesty. every single song in this lp talks to me directly, as if I was catching up with a childhood best friend.
my brain is now a mush of polyrhythms and noise. sometimes I wonder how on earth does zach hill still hear anything after thirty years of banging the drums like that, damn.
HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCK THAT WAS AMAZING DUDE
I'm deaf now btw
my car broke down while I was listening to it. needless to say, I was fucking terrified.
Brian went through hell and back, he deserves to deliver some whimsical tunes and still be called an absolute genius for it.
This album really changed everything. I mean, listen to it, these guys really created dream pop in the 70's.
At first I thought "wow, another prog boy with king crimson roots, how original", then he went full on salsa mode and I sat down very quickly. the greeper never misses.
