A must-listen for any Jazz heads out there.
For me, this album is the epitome of "put some headphones on, play this and get a shit load of work done" albums. I think this is where this album will shine when you have it on with some headphones so you can appreciate the production and arrangements but doing something that requires you to get stuck in. For my case, this is great for long animation sessions.
The songs are long and there's a lot of jamming so if you like that sort of ... read more

The album that put them on the fuckin map and one of my favourite albums of all time.
2016's "Nonagon Infinity" goes fucking hard start to finish... wherever you decide to start it from is one of the most novel things about "Nonagon Infinity" as it changes the way you interact with the album. Because the album loops from the last track "Road Train" back into the first track "Robot Stop" you can start it from anywhere on the album. Why be a fuckin ... read more

Can never spell this fucking band's name.
4th full length from Hayaitus Coyote and I think this one is gonna be a grower. Probably the weakest of the quartet of albums and felt a bit unfocused throughout the project but there are some great tracks here.
There's always been two vibes I get from this band. Vibe 1 is the psychedelic neo-soul "destiny's child on a few tabs of acid" and Vibe 2 being the batshit trippy as fuck experimental side. "Love Heart Cheat ... read more

God damn "PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation" is KILLER and a fantastic gateway drug into the heavier genres for those less acquainted.
There's no kayfabe to be heard here, fuck any gatekeeping metal head who thinks King Gizz are a "nOt A rEaL mEtAl BaNd"... they're right... King Gizzard aren't a metal band as they hop and experiment with so many styles but when they DO ... read more

Finally listened to this album in 2024. 19 years, 11 months, 27 days since it's release as of the time of writing this... so yeah super fuckin' late to the party but man this album... this album is incredible and worth the hype surrounding it for nearly 2 decades.
I heard a few of the big songs as my friends would jam them back in the day like the anthemic "Chicago" and the devastating "Casmir Pulaski Day" but in the context of the album and hearing it all ... read more
