Bought the CD and Book before I even started the second half. Best decision ever. I am in awe
EXTREMELY strong start, and then it just fizzles out for the most part
Without the lyrics, this is just a mediocre indie pop album. But the lyrics are so laughably bad and to-the-point that it makes it really hard to get through this album without it being just background music.
1989 but without the nostalgia.
Some songs are better but my god songs like Blank Space were butchered, vault tracks were fine ig.
Cool ass album but it does lack many memorable parts. The atmosphere and creativity is CONSISTENTLY there tho, cool to see how far Peggy has come
Revisiting this album after a few months, and while I understand the criticism, I'm still a huge fan. The derivative nature of Samia's vocals and production are clear, but I think that's what adds to this album's overwhelming sense of comfort. While the autotune is definitely overused,. personally it doesn't bother me all that much. But where this album shines is its emotional vulnerability.
