Foo Fighters - But Here We Are
100

I had to hear this record a lot of times just to think about it and don't overrate it, cuz i loved the foos as a kid and went in 4 shows (i think), so yeah, it was hard to listen. Taylor Hawkings and Neil Peart made me want to play the drums and it' sad to think that now the two are gone.
Now, to the album, the lyrics are strong and impactful, the songs are as good as it can get from foo fighters and the ending it's just bonkers.
But, the mixing was kinda messy sometimes? Idk.

JID - DiCaprio 2
85

I think it's really good. Until skrawberries i was lowkey thinking the albums was a 95 or something, but i didn't like the last couple of tracks as the ones that came before. But overall de album is pretty good, it's not as cohesive as never story or forever story, but it's the same JID who makes rap feel effortless with his impecable timing, flow and lyrics.

IN COCLUSION, green apples are extremely underrated.

Boring, feels like a demo. The freddie Gibbs feature is good and ty did his thing, but Kanye its just bad in this, there was some one liners here and there, but just that.

BUT CHANGING THE TOPIC, i came back from vacation and i have a lot of albums to hear and rate

Paramore - This Is Why
96

(I'm no paramore fan or music critic,I don't know a lot about their discography, so take my comparisons with a grain of salt)

Soooo, I love it. It is pop punk, but it isn't just that. All the pettiness of misery business is in big man, little dignity; the angression still there, but, in my eyes, the channeling of the ideia changed, the repertoire of influences is bigger and, this shows how they matured and evolved the sound, they didn't change completely, just got more baggage to use, think ... read more

Kanye West - The College Dropout
90

I was afraid to hear his music after... you know, but I thought he could speak some more stupid shit in the future so it's better to hear it now and i will treat the album like it just got out and I don't know the guy.

Soo, the start it's just incredible and I liked everything until "Jesus walks", I think the last verse on "never let me down" is boring and in "Get 'em high" aswell. "Breath in, breath out" is just ok and "two words" is a ... read more

L'Rain - I Killed Your Dog
84

That's sad, BUT I STILL HAVE 2

Drake - For All The Dogs
55

Idk it's just drake being drake. He is the literally the encarnation of the word mid

OutKast - Aquemini
100

I think this album has the highest lows and lowest highs? Idk If I can explain, but this made the album the most solid of theirs (for me).
This album is the affirmation of Outkast in hip-hop zeitgeist, it's the perfect stepping stone to the funk-filled, conscious rap perfected by the Duo (all in the view of someone who started to hear rap in last December, so take it with a grain of salt)
Some things i liked in the album:
- It was the best response possible to the haters of ATliens and start ... read more

OutKast - Stankonia
94

If snappin' and trappin' didn't exist this album would be perfect, but I don't know why i CANNOT hear that song

OutKast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
95

I think the two albuns are solid and close to 100 separated, but togheter they can be a little tiring with all the interludes/postludes, length, etc... So the rating get down a little and with some lackluster songs (for me) like tomb of the boom and behold a lady, I decided to put 95 instead of a 98 on the final score

Edit: now I like behold a lady, but tomb of the boom still boring as hell

Travis Scott - Rodeo
92

I love it.
At first I thought trap was just bragadocious repetitive shit, but this album is actually melancholic at times, with dark and strong sounds. The metro produced tracks were just amazing too (his synergy with travis is 🤌🤌🤌).
The "repetitive" beats and samples are incredible too emphasize travis voice (and at times almost sound like a guitar doing bends, idk).
And the best part (for me) are the lyrics, they, at first, look superficial, but they are just super sad ... read more

O Rappa - Lado B Lado A
100

... read more

Radiohead - The King of Limbs
80

I just vibed, so yeah, 80 for pure vibes when I listened to it. I think this isn't an album I'll come back, but someday it can grow on me idk.
