Kodak Black - Lil B.I.G. Pac
49

You can tell he cared about this project but it completely lacks the charm and good production his last 2 projects had

Clipse - Hell Hath No Fury
74

I like lord willin a bit more
The beats were overall worse here with around the same quality rapping and less catchy songs

Sickboyrari - Goth Luv
84

Super solid release from kray I can’t believe it took me so long to listen to it
Only 2 songs that aren’t amazing
I love the psychedelic feel this album has but it doesn’t go fully into it like 700 dagreez but doesn’t sacrifice production for rapping like on his later sickboyrari releases

Clipse - Lord Willin'
80

Was not expecting to like this so much but these 2 can really rap and the only complaint I have is some of the beats can be a little silly

Sickboyrari - City of Doves
52

60->52
Someone once told me on Twitter this was their fav kray project and I’ll never understand that

John Fedchock - New York Big Band
70

I’m upset I had to add such an incredible album to this website
My fav jazz album

87->70
It’s good but not really special

LUCKI - FREEWAVE
70

80->70
While good it doesn’t do anything special when compared to his other projects

Kodak Black - Institution
77

While I prefer the production on heart of the projects the beats are pretty unique here
You can tell by his rapping he was truly hungry and trying to make it for real
Could’ve cut like 7 songs and made this way better since it gets a little boring and some songs sound the same

Bladee - Cold Visions
84

80->84
About 10 songs could’ve been removed honestly
Best beats he’s been on since gluee but I don’t really like gluee so this is his album with the best production actually worth listening to
Top 3 bladee

Bladee - Spiderr
49

72->49
Bladees pop style was finally getting stale here

Kodak Black - Project Baby
40

He was still developing his sound here I’ll give him that
Heart of the projects was a big step up

Herbie Hancock - Thrust
83

Super funky I love it I’ll never get over how much I love jazz drumming

Nettspend - BAD ASS F*CKING KID
83

About what I was expecting as a nettspend fan
I’m not sure why he didn’t put nothing like u and fuck swag on here and removed 2 weaker tracks but for his first album this early in his career it’s great and I’m very stoked to see where he goes from here

Weather Report - Heavy Weather
80

The consistent vibe on here absolutely fucks
Super chill music with no weak points and all around solid
Surprisingly enough I think birdland was my least fav

80->67
I knew I needed the relisten cause although I liked the album first listen every time I thought about it in retrospect I had more negative thoughts than positive. I do appreciate how similar the songs sound while each song sounds unique
Birdland and teen town are seriously their most popular stuff? Such boring music I think ... read more

GZA - Pro Tools
70

Never would’ve expected this would be my second favorite from GZA

Ween - White Pepper
85

82->85
Might be better than the mollusk I’m ngl
Super solid only 2 songs that aren’t incredible
Ween would be the greatest band of all time if they were consistently locked in and this shows that

Bathory - Twilight of the Gods
81

While still pretty solid it’s a slight de-evolution from hammerheart

Bathory - Hammerheart
85

I truly feel like a Viking listening to this

jschlatt - A Very 1999 Christmas
60

About as good as jschlatt doing Christmas covers can be

On Sickboyrari - Sahel Dreamz
"@TheCartoon the first 4, let me know and can I gaal yu don’t sound like anything else he’s done really The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"
On 久石譲 [Joe Hisaishi] - 千と千尋の神隠し [Spirited Away Soundtrack]
"@recordmusic18 the soundtrack perfectly fits the movie and I wouldn’t want a different soundtrack for such a perfect movie but on its own when treated like a normal album of music it’s not great Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"
On Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
"@bloxbusters what I mean is that I don’t feel like he sat down and made music casually and it popped out like this I feel like he’s creating music with the purpose of it being experimentation which works cool with the art of it but musically I prefer that to feel like a natural part of the artist process"
