significantly underrated 90s album. I'd consider this one of the best of the decade.
Every single track is just so good. Psych blues heaven. I'd consider this my favorite album of the 1970s and my second favorite of all time. Like honestly its hard to put into words how good the music is. even the tracks some people classically don't get as much (cars hiss, king snake, wasp) I love. I mean that panned drum solo on wasp is just INSANE (bobobobo BWOW bobobo BWOW bobobo BWOW bobo NOW LISTEN TO THIS AND I'LL TELL YOU ABOUT THE TEXAS...)
Favorite tracks: all.
what was once a semi-disorganized 'jam-type' band becomes EXTREMELY skilled and coherent. This is an album meant for slow relaxing summer days, and it compacts it into an album more effectively than most other summery efforts from other bands.
