It's autumn, the leaves are green and you're walking at the midnight, you decided to put on your headphones and listen to some new atmospheric black metal and suddenly you hear one album that matches the mood, that album is Autumn Aurora!
There are many bands who tried to play atmospheric black metal but most of them disappoint, but this album doesn't, it's perfect.
The title track (although it's a instrumental acoustic song) is the exact feeling of the album cover and it shows what you're ... read more
It's heavy, realy heavy for a thrash album, "Skull Fracturing" even if you will.
If you travel back to 92, thrash seems dead, there weren't many bands who could make great thrash releases again... But Demolition Hammer wasn't one of them!
We all know the story behind this... The artist who killed himself and released a beautiful album.
It's hard to say what makes me listen to this album, Nothing is at its best, but the feeling is real.
You can feel the depression of Roman while listening to this record. It smells of depression and suicide if you will (as it is called depressive suicidal black metal).
It's not a cheesy release (like that stupid laughable USBM band called "Happy Days") it reeks of sadness.

Every goregrind band is a Carcass worship? I mean you can see the Carcass influence but still sounds so uniqe and brutal.
The production may not be the best, but it's great for thiz type of music.
The vocals are low and brutal, the guitar riffs are brutal and memorable and you can clearly hear the death metal influences on them.
"If I drink Tollen’s reagent, will I finally shine inside?
And will I see myself as God sees me
If I pour it in my eyes?
Pour it in my eyes"
Well what's not to like? Never been a fan of avant-garde black metal but this definitely changed my mind.
It's absurd and it's progressive, it took me 2 times of listening to it to get used to it but I loved it.
The vocals are clean and couldn't be done better, they're being shouted by a guy who is angry from the imperialism and ... read more
No genre has suddenly flew out of the sky, and death metal is no exception. If you ask what was the first death metal album, you'll get different answers, and if you ask me I will choose Possessed's Seven Churches. I know it's not 100% pure death metal and I stand by the fact that it is in fact the first of this wonderful genre.
blast beats, breakdowns, grooves, low gutteral vocals, and brutal lyrics.
If you're familiar with bdm then you're familiar with the almighty broken hope, and if not, well it can be the path you walk to start loving bdm.
Slam is a genre that took some time for me to love and this record is one of the first ones that I really enjoyed!
If you askes me like 2 years ago, it would have probably been my favourite slam record.
It's heavy and the guitar tone is thick and it sounds really heavy. The vocals are perfect, can't imagine this album with any other vocals.
It's a shame that this demo is their only material they ever released...
I was enjoying my Jenovavirus and found out some members of that band also played in this band and thia very record.
Here's a question, do they sound like Jenovavirus? Well no, they don't.
It's hard for me to choose which one I love more, both are great BDM bands and really different bands
Listen you'll not be disappointed.
It's your first days of listening to death metal. You've already heard some Death and CC and you're looking for more, suddenly you came aside to Morbid Angel and their debut Altars of Madness.
You started to listen to it and you're speechless, it's powerful and it's really brutal for a record that came out in 1989!
Who doesn't love Trey Azagthoth and Richard Brunelle as a guitar due? I mean it's perfect.

So we all know that this record is an attempt of the band to copy Suffocation's Pierced from Within (of course minus the complexit), don't we?
So here's a question, did they do it well? Yeah they did.
It's brutal and is the official start of a beautiful little genre called slam.
It's worth a listen give it a shot and you'll love it.
It's late 80s and you're enjoying your death metal and grindcore bands, and suddenly you find bands which combine them! And one of the bests in doing it is Terrorizer and their 1989 masterpiece World Downfall.
The drums are the highlights of the album, they're far beyond perfection, they're fast and technical.
The guitar riffs are like harcore and thrash influence and couldn't be done better.
There are some great basslines and the most notable one in my opinion is the one in "Fear of ... read more
From the start you can feel your face getting smashed by a hammer (yes this is a CC reference) and man it feels good!

And the vocals, it will melt your brain and your heart and gives you the the experience of a life time
The guitar work is great and the guitar tone gives you the excitement you need to start your day, the drum is magnificent
The vocal delivery is pretty great too!
Not a huge fan of melodic deatg carcass, but I worship the goregrind era, it's perfection as far as a genre goes.
This release got me into goregrind and grindcore and will forever be in my heart.
It has better production than the last album.
Listen if you're seeking true goregrind!
