When he dropped we love you tecca I thought he had potential but simply didn't reach it, after this, I have come to the conclusion that ransom as a complete fluke. AND HE RUINED DOLLY.
Such a vibe, all the features come through and the production is minimalistic but beautiful.
I vibed so hard during this. This album could get a good score based off the title track alone but it serves as a satisfying alt rock listen, being enjoyable throughout.
At least on the original, he tried to do something different. I don't hate Dababy but every new song here feels like a throwaway that should've just stayed on his harddrive.
I heard hit when it was first blowing up and I really liked it. I kind of forgot about it for a while and the other day I started listening to it, one thing lead to another and I listened to this album. I can confidently say I was not expecting what I got but in the best way possible. Not only is the production moody and compelling, but both lyrically and technically Kenny kills it on here. A great album well worth the listen.
Oh my lord, this is so good what on earth. For starters, I'm God is the most beautiful piece of music I've heard in a long time, and every song on this is incredibly composed. Usually, I don't like instrumental albums or any instrumental music for that matter. But this is so well done the incredible energy surpasses the need for lyrics. AOTY contender.
Yeah his vocals are really nice, and yeah the album is really well done, but my God is that artwork egregious.
Edit: Nope this isn't good just cringe, artwork still offends me on a personal level.
There's not a bad song on here. I just wish her lyrics were more diverse but regardless an extremely fun ep with great energy.
I didn't have any expectations coming into this, of course, I'd heard party girl and I thought he had a decent voice, but I was pleasantly surprised with this EP, where I don't think there's one bad song and StaySolidRocky sounds really great against some nice beats. It's a nice vibey rap album.
