I honestly liked this one more than Step to Rhythm which I wasn't expecting. Still clearly a very early example of their abilities and a bit one-note in the direction they're going for, but it's honestly just a good time and there's more room for Brendan Yate's vocals on here compared to the other EP. Blue Rev is one of those albums that didn't make sense to me until I listened to it in a different way, that being on the cassette copy that I got with an already cracked case that has only gained more cracks and scratches with time.
