It's a fun, simple D&B record. Her voice can sound kind of whiny at points, but overall is enjoyable. The production is great too. My only problem is it felt some of these songs could've felt more fleshed out.
Disc 1 is soo0o boring. Future and Metro try to do an RnB album, but future is not a great singer and Metro brings some of his most generic production. The interlude is also just unnecessary, as is half these tracks. The features and disses are all welcome, however. Disc 1 rating: 40 Disc 2 is so much more enjoyable holy shit. It's the hard trap stuff you expect from Future + great features and great production. ASAP Rocky is still great, now can he drop his own album? Disc 2 rating: 77
Such a unique and quirky EP. Denzel uses growls and speed, and pitch changes throughout causing a listen not like much else. This is also some of Kenny's best production. It's so fun I highly recommend this.
Jesus Christ did the laundry and just so happened to wash the recording equipment with it.
Amazing beat, personal lyrics, and a great feature make me all excited for Chance's triumphant return.
A super fun and out-their album. Danny Brown brings some unique flavor to Hip-Hop here and it gives me the feeling of a swamp, but in a good way. Almost flawless but I didn't like White Lines.
A deeply personal album from Danny Brown. Each song feels so real. Danny brings a much calmer approach to a lot of these songs compared to the other album he dropped this year with Peggy. This definitely works to drive the more introspective tone of the whole album.
An incredibly fun Rock-Rap band by a duo that knows their stuff. Many of the songs carry a similar guitar riff through the entire thing causing them to sound samey at times throughout the tracks, however the vocal performances are different enough to carry the tracks. The album's later half is much stronger than the first.
A rough album. The length does not play into its favor but despite this it is still an intriguing listen. Cudi is incredibly emotional on this album and Rose Golden made me feel a way.
A classic album. Cudi brings some amazing and emotional lyricism over psychedelic pop-rap beats. This album has aged well with time for sure.
A solid finale to the beloved Man On The Moon series where Cudi experiments with trap elements and ends up sounding like the peers he inspired. Luckily it works in his favor here unlike insano and offers an enjoyable experience with some of Cudi's best rapping.
Go into a depressive episode then listen through this album.
Cudi tackles some seriously dark topics backed by some of his best instrumentals.
Spotify recommended me this and I was surprised I enjoy it so much because Spotify usually recommends me garbage. Great beats, but Trevor's singing/rapping could have a little more to be desired.
A fun group of rappers, most of them I can't wait to see more of, such as Camo! While others like Draft Day drag down the project with his weird voice like oh my god take a cough drop
A great EP that shows you what Laufey is all about. Soothing pop-jazz with beautiful instruments
my friends keep recommending me Good Kid and I don't know how they can sit through this cover.
The singer's voice sounds like a mix between Roger Craig Smith's Sonic and Panic at the Disco! and it annoys me beyond belief.
TPAB is filled to the brim with phenomenal production, flawless writing, and the best rapping to ever happen ever.
Ariana Grande is backed by Pharrell production throughout Sweetener and it is a combination I wish there was even more of. This album is full of fun, sweet, sugary sounding pop music that makes me happy.
Ariana Grande brings a fairly standard performance, backed by fairly standard production. There are still some great tracks on this thing, but it is not close to her best
