One of the best hip-hop albums ever. Wu Tang brings threatening raps and unique deliveries from each member. Some more eccentric than others, like Ol' Dirty Bastard. This album is a golden standard for rap music.
This is the most overheated project in Hip-Hop ever. Sure the lows are pretty bad, but the highs are just so good. Songs like Purity or Changes are so phenomenal.
Super fun beat, dumb chorus, and a fire-ass Denzel feature. What more do you want?
This album is almost flawless. The only thing it's missing is an exclusive vinyl track featuring Charlie Wilson. Also I Don't Love You Anymore isn't that good.
This album is a mess of shitty mixing, half-baked ideas, and great music. Unfortunately the good is outweighed by the bad significantly.
A deep, personal, and enjoyable soul ride through Denzel Curry. As a major fan of his other works, this is definitely different, but it's phenomenal nonetheless. This album highlights Zel's versatility as an artist, despite not reaching the exact same high as TA13OO. This is an amazing album
I'm a Carti fan but this album just isn't that good. It's like 15 tracks too long and sure it's influential but the actual content isn't that enjoyable. The fun songs are REALLY fun tho.
take my shirt off and all the hoes stop breathing!
This album sounds so spacey and freeing. There's also plenty of hard ass songs.
Also skeletons is top 1 Travis don't @ me.
Travis goes for a rougher, more experimental approach and it works perfectly. His lyrics leave much to be desired but that's definitely not the point of this album; the real star is the phenomenal production.
This album feels like the "I Finally Made It" mentality put into music from in the best way possible. This is a modern day classic in every sense of the word.
One of the best albums I've heard. This is a two-part album, with the first being a much more fun ride, while the second is a much more personal and introspective look into Big K.R.I.T. The album is filled with soul elements and unique production.
Upon re-listen it is perfect. It's so long but stays good for it's 1 and a half hour span.
Straight hard trap music for 30 minutes. Definitely not as good as his TA13OO or MMESYF, but a solid piece in his discography. Denzel carries the fun lines and enjoyable delivery throughout the project.
EDIT: This is the most fun album I've ever heard. Denzel, you're my goat. I bought this on CD. Also this is just as good as TA13OO or Melt My Eyez.
A very close contender for best trap album I've ever heard. The album is split into 3 acts with distinctive styles. Act 1 is full of fun, less trap sounding songs. Act 2 is full of darker, more personal trap. Finally, Act 3 is full of angry, hard music with one of the funniest bars I've ever heard on Percz. This album is up there with Rodeo and another reason why 2018 is my favorite year for music ever.
One of the most beautiful, and challenging albums I've ever heard. Songs like We Cry Together, Father Time, or Mother I Sober are so difficult but so good in a way I can't explain. Other songs like Die Hard or Mirror or Auntie's Diaries are so beautiful and this feels like a somehow relatable look into Kendrick's psyche.
