a dreadful drake album really makes you appreciate your average regular drake album
have never been so confident about the 20 year cycle of nostalgia. these guys are a couple years ahead of the curve by releasing arcade fire's funeral (2004) 2 years early, also 40 years since philip glass' koyaanisqatsi (1982) score... not that i'm complaining, means we're only a few years from a proper animal collective resurgence
big thief have gifted us with an entry into the pantheon of classic double albums by embracing all of the variety, musicianship, instinct and silliness that is inherent in the very best of them. truly truly love this album
